I Recommend This Course
Golf's newest TPC course
Hometown star Steve Stricker put on his architecture hat to modernize and rebrand this private club into a new TPC venue that will host the 2025 American Family Insurance Championship for the first time. The challenge will come from the handful of marshes and ponds that cover the mostly flat land. You can't escape them. Most players will lose at least a couple balls playing it, but the pros should plot their way around with minimal damage.

Marsh Course with an Attitude
Cherokee delivers with regard to difficulty--no doubt. Stay away from those marshy hazards, but you can't because they're everywhere. This course is hard. Course is in good shape almost always. Greens are hard and roll quite nicely--moderately fast. Cherokee just needs a little fine tuning. Rough is a little uneven as are the fairways. Excellent viewing of wildlife. The cart paths are unpaved and it takes away from the beauty. Bunkers are inconsistent as some have sand and others have dirt or mud.
