Scenic View Country Club

This isn't so much about the course but rather about the clientele. They had three outings and a wedding in one day. That's a little much for any course. Seemed like there were a million foursomes who all played incredibly slow.

The course was actually fairly nice. The fairways rolled nicely and the rough was challenging but not crazy long. The greens could have been much softer and there isn't any difference in flag color to determine where the pins are on the green. Nice mix of long and short holes with some blind shots.

I have played this course for many years at fun outings and always liked the staff and conditions. However this time I played as a 2 some with my aunt who is a senior. We were greeted by a young college kid who was disrespectful and told us the bar area was closed. We checked in at the new shack and paid for our golf, which was on golfnow.com, the torrential rains came in after 9 holes exactly and we werent able to get a rain check. I get it but one would think a club would advertise construction and that the greens had tree debri on them in the middle of summer. Overall very disapointing experience..... Regards, Mike Froh

The course was challenging for me and my foursome. The greens looked to be in good shape, but the pin placement was not friendly to golfers like us, especially on the July 4th weekend when they were going to be busy. Challenging pin placement is fine on half the holes, but every one seemed to be in the most difficult locations, which slowed down play for every group. My group and I average 2-3 times a month throughout a season.

The other disappointing thing was the small craters that littered the whole course. The grass was inconsistent and in the fairway there were craters rolling through the majority of the landing zones. Luckily, I was in the rough most of the time (very thick, but not too thick) the craters were in the tee boxes too which made it difficult to find a quality position to tee off from without the ball being above or below your feet.

Overall, my foursome and I enjoyed our time, but will only ever comeback for an outing or on a great deal.

Overall this is a nice course. Due to recent lack of rain greens were absurdly fast.

The scorecard on the app needs to be updated. I believe they recently switched the front and back nines.

Beautiful day to play golf. We had a foursome with with two good high school players behind us. Good time was had by all. Staff and condition of course were both great.

Played here several times and always in excellent condition. Staff is very friendly.

The course was in great shape. There are some difficult holes as well as a few fairly easy holes to keep you coming back for more. Perfect course for a fun round of golf. I can clearly remember four holes with good elevation changes for that "scenic" round.
Staff was great and pace of play was very good even though there were a lot of people on the course.

It looked like a beginners course. People behind hit into you, people in front, 20-30 per hole. They would not tee off till people left the green.....on a par 5? Asked to play through, got sworn at. My wife and her friends won't be back either. Did't finish last 6 holes after waiting 25 minutes to play our last hole. Shared tees don't work if 4some on other half are drunk and loud! I contacted course and their FB page. I see I'm not the first to have the same complaints in reviews. A Ranger is needed!
I want a refund!

It tooks us 2 1/2 hours to get through the first nine holes of play with riding. Noone had done anything about it. We couldn't even finish the 18 holes as it was taking approx 20 mins to get one hole done. Kept having to wait for the people in front of us.

I never played it, it was in good shape. A lot of elevation changes. Easy to find, too

Under $30 on a Holiday to ride = great value. Very nice condition for spring.

The course offers a variety of shots that requires the use of all the clubs in your bag

Course has some challenging elevated tee boxes! The course is forgiving on some holes but the greens will challenge every level of golfer . Some water in play on a few holes! Weather was in the high 40's but was playable! Overall very nice and challenging!

Played May 4 and the course is in excellent shape for this time of the year. Challenging layout.

Was first time out this year and this course was a good place to start. It has a nice mix of short and longer holes and fairly large, forgiving fairways. There are just enough hazards to keep it challenging but can be played fairly easy by all levels. Greens were true and surprisingly quick for the time of year and amount of rain received recently.

Grass hasn't started to grow yet so brown was the prevailing color of the day with partly cloudy high 50's with a 15mph breeze. Still a bit chilly but being the first time out this year didn't expect too much. Course is average but the price made it above average along with the awesome starter, very pleasant . My only complaint is the Woman's bathroom is the furthest away from everything. Maybe they could swap out one of the "two" men's bathrooms for the woman's. Thanks.

A couple years ago a friend had his wedding reception at Scenic View and when I saw the golf course I wanted to try it out. Finally got to it and guess what, I was pleasantly surprised. Greens were great, fairways very nice, the golf carts ran very good. The only problem was the falling leaves and windy made it hard to find the balls sometimes. I have to come back when the leaves clear up. The folks at Scenic View do a great job maintaining this golf course.

Always a fun, yet challenging course to play.
The cashier in the pro shop however could use
a course in customer relations. With few, if any
golfers scheduled to tee off, he wanted us to wait
1 hour for our scheduled tee off time (booked
through Golf Now.com). I finally convinced him
to allow us a somewhat earlier start. Very, very
poor PR.

Course was well maintained. Staff was friendly, and facilities were nice, clean and well maintained. For sure will be back next season!
