About
Hartford Golf Club is conveniently located just outside of Milwaukee. The course has been a part of the community since 1928 when a group of local businessmen who were passionate about golf decided to come together and make the course a reality. The layout is traditional in design and player friendly enough for beginners, but it still offers a few challenges. It's a short golf course by modern standards, measuring 6,519 yards from the back tees. Water isn't terribly prominent, but golfers should be prepared for back-to-back water hazards starting with the third hole. Hartford Golf Club's 12th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards and this dogleg left is also one of the toughest. In addition to the golf course, there are also two full-length driving ranges and a three-hole practice course.

Good enough
Certainly a nicer course than some of the tracks around here, but far from a premium course. I would play again, but I would not likely play if I were paying full price. Not exactly the course's fault. Unraked bunkers, unrepaired ball marks, etc. To be expected playing public in the afternoon. A short par 3 with a tree directly in front of it is an interesting design, albeit gimmicky at best.
OK,but save money by booking direct
The course is in fine shape, but understaffed to keep up. Tee boxes are unkept and full of broken tees. Bunkers are a pathetic, no sand in many and all hard as concrete.
Don’t use Golf Now app if you’re a Senior, as you will lose the Senior Discount. Actually cost me $15 more by booking with Golf Now. Plus you get charged a 3% credit card fee because you use Golf Now.
Total rip-off.
Pace of Play
Unfortunately, this was the 1st time I've had a problem with pace of play at this course. However, I've never played on a Holiday before. I'll probably stay away on Holiday's in the future, just in case.

Hartford Golf Club was a refreshing surprise in a good way. The course has a very nice layout with lots of interesting holes that have greens protected by well placed sand bunkers and difficult pin locations. The course conditions were kept to a high standard and would compare to courses that have much higher green fees. They also advertise for food and beverages on the holes before the turn and 17 so you can pre-order food so as to be ready when you get there. Cool feature!! Had a real nice time for my first time here, and guarantee, I will be back.

Fairways and greens were in great condition. Jim at the pro shop was very friendly. Drinking water was very much appreciated. Rare in these days. Wish course was closer to us. Hope to be back.
Excellent condition
We had some rain last few days however this course is in really good shape. Maintain extremely well greens are immaculate to run true.
