Best course
Fantastic course for beginners with outstanding service! The friendly staff went above and beyond, allowing us to finish our round and patiently waiting until we wrapped up. Truly appreciated, especially for a beginner group like ours
Poor condition
Played highlands golf course on 16/7 & found it to be in really poor condition. Large areas of boggy fairway cover the course, making lost balls & unplayable lies common. Frustratingly, copious amounts of temporary fencing running across fairways, forcing players to walk onto the other fairway just to find a way around. Drainage gutters running across many holes also contributing to the problem.
Tee boxes were in poor condition, many almost devoid of any grass. Green are minuscule & incredibly hard making them almost impossible to hold, even if you manage to land on them .
Wouldn't play here again.
Excellent course - challenging, interesting and in great condition
Well done to the team - course in greet nick despite it being winter. Greens in particular were beautifully looked after - and challenging.
We loved our round - great value and a great course.
Pro shop well stocked, but bring your own coffee - kitchen wasn’t open during the week.
Excellent Course
A hidden gem in the Southern Highlands - a lovely layout with some really interesting and testing holes. A lot of work has been done on the fairways and the greens and it has paid off - they really are top quality . Bit slow when I played but not too problematic and the views and backdrop made the waits more than bearable.
Well worth a visit.
Extremely well maintained - good mix of modern and classic hole design
A very well looked after course, with an excellent pro shop.
Greens and fairways alll very true. The use of evergreen trees cut strategically means lots of trees that make you think, but aren’t ball vacuums
Doesn’t hurt that the surrounds are beautiful too
Lovely morning round
Loved the layout especially the back nine. Course condition was great.. a few tees are a bit thin due to shade but you tee up anyway!
Fairways great, greens are small roll nicely. A bargain!
Highlands Golf Course
Beautifully maintained and picturesque course .. I love this course as it is challenging and enjoyable to play . I recommend hiring a cart as it has a few hills. Holes are easy to find with great signage. A bonus are the multiple kangaroos on the course as well as wildlife. Great value for money and a re purposed Pro shop with tonnes of supplies. Highly recommended…
Beautiful country course. Greens a firm and fast and in great condition
Excellent day for golf
4 players with 2 carts. Friendly staff, no problems with payment and straight onto the course. Beautiful, picturesque course. Would recommend to first timers to advanced golfers
Brilliant Experience
Beautiful spring day. Very quiet. Some really interesting holes. Up and down a few hills so a good workout if walking. Greens were fast and challenging. Worth it for Hole 18. A gorgeous par 3 to finish. Well done to the Club. The course is a credit to you.
Rude bar staff
My family and myself went into the Mittagong Gulf for an afternoon drink on the June long week Sunday the 10th 2024 .
While waiting some time at the bar for a drink I was finally approached by the bar tender as she came in from out side is there anything I can do for me in a rude manner I replied yes I would like to order two drinks .while the drinks were getting prepared I asked the girl who’s your day going ? She replied all I seemed to do is clean and it just reminds me of being at home .
Once I received the drinks I sat down where I found the front door opened to the front out side area so I closed this door as it was very cold out side and cold winter air coming in . The bar tender walked out and jammed it open once again and we were cold once again .
We had our drinks and left , we intend to never go back their again and will email the Golf Club Manager about this .
Beautiful course and friendly team
I played here with my teenage son, it’s lovely place to play and the Proshop staff are awesome. Course was a bit wet with recent rain but in great condition overall
Nice scenic course with wildlife
Enjoyed a solo round midweek. Course currently in good condition with lush fairways and plush greens. Abundant wildlife with many kangaroos and ducks. Course finishes with two par threes. Clubhouse has good outlook over 18th green.
