Beverley Park Golf Club

I was looking for somewhere to play whilst in Sydney.

This Club is super for a good round at a very reasonable rate.

The fairways need some work. They were fertilising on the day we played. The greens could use some work and it would be nice if other players would fix their marks on the green.

A midday tee off in the peak of holiday season means a) it will be very busy and hence slow and b) this type of course will inevitably have many beginners/occasional golfers which will add to slowness. The tees were about as far forward as they could be which is fair enough. I'm a regular golfer with a mid-range handicap who gets to play a reasonable range of both public and private courses. Beverley Park is completely flat with quite a lot of similar up and down par fours. It has been very dry lately so it's not surprising there were some very brown patches on fairways. However, for a public course with the volume of play it must get, I thought the greens were exceptional. The surfaces were high-quality and consistent which is a great credit to the greenkeeping staff. All in all, it's a good public course that I feel is decent VFM and I would play it again.

It was great that we could get on given the weather.

The course was playable but a challenge given the very wet surface.

Feel sorry for the ground staff as there is going to be a lot of work to get back.

Only one comment - you can’t run around and pull the flags out while people are playing within the time frame of play.

First time in my whole 60+ years of life they didn’t have pull carts available

Recently played Beverley Park with my son who had only recently started playing golf. It's a great course for all skill levels and an easy walk. 18 holes in 3 half hours is good

The greens have improved but the fairways no better than roughs

Need to avoid on wet days but overall a good practice course for a fun day

Booked into play on Friday with cart, 18 holes. Greens were recently cored but were ok, fairways good condition.The pace of play was frustrating due to a group of 6 players ahead, very slow and aggressive when ask to break into 2 groups. Suggest a Marshall gets on course to ensure a reasonable pace of play is managed. Besides that, staff are all friendly and shall return

Absolutely beautiful course. Well designed. Great condition. Perfect for any golfer. However, on this particular day we were stuck behind a group of six - spraying balls anywhere and everywhere. After taking 2 hours to get through the first 5 holes (no one was in front of them) we decided to call the pro shop, however no answer despite it being 2 hours before closing time on a weekend. Not a massive deal, will definitely be coming back. Would have loved a Marshall coming through and checking up on that though.

Booking is a simple process and started on time. The pace of plate was extremely slow due to a group of five, taking their time on every hole. Still enjoyed the game and shall return

Golf now app is simple to use and safe some money. Fairways need attention and 2 nd cut rough. Greens all in excellent condition and consistent.
