Excellent course - Golfnow doesn’t work in this course though.
Played a round on a rainy/cloudy day. The course is hilly and beautifully laid out. The staff at the pro shop was welcoming and friendly. It was found Golfnow booking didn’t pass through to the pro shop. Golfnow has a serious issue of processing the booking and simply pushing forward it to the course without checking if it is confirmed by the course. Simply put, Golfnow doesn’t work!! Just call the pro shop, they will find a tee time for yoh with no fee.
Interesting, but ultimately disappointing
Overcharged me for the round, having booked through Qantas Golf club and paid $16 upfront and $56 due at the course, I then got charged full price at the course - over $100.
Things didn't get much better from there. The carts are old and could barely make it up a lot of the hills on this course. And there are a lot of hills. The ground is hard clay in a lot of areas and not conducive to good golf. Good tee shots are often punished with horrible lies in the middle of the 'fairway'. Sand bunkers are basically concrete and greens are bumpy and inconsistent.
The course does have a few interesting holes and some good lengthy par 3s, but all in all I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is even half serious about golf.
