If you're happy to outlay a few bucks on your golf clubs, golf attire, umbrella, shoes, buggy etc, or your a golf-member,....., do yourself, One big favour. Thing....
It's cheaper than buying a round of coffee's or shouting drinks after you're round at the 19th...
Invest in a golf ball, divert repair tool....and
If that divert "tool" is still out of reach with your budget, or your hands are shorter than the length of your pockets,
Option # 2.... Use a golf-tee to Fix & Repair your diverts ⛳️

Avoid Friday afternoons
Walked off after 3 holes due to unbearable slow play. Avoid Friday afternoons as club competition is on. Club is better off not allowing social play during comp.
1st hole is currently playing as par 3.
