Great Course
I'm always working on my game, wince I;m a SUPER HACKER. Gateway is a perfect course for working on your game. Gives you enough different looks to make a golfer work on every type of shots. 9th hole was where I made first ever Eagle. However only once.
Staff has always gone out of there way to listen or talk to me. They give you a felling of being happy to see you.
When the weather breaks from these HOTTTTT temps, I will walk the course for the pure enjoyment.
The course layout is very nice
The greens , fairways and bunker are well maintained. A great nine hole course. I drive here to play one to three times a month I live 40 miles away.

Excellent Course
As a I tried and true hacker on the golf course, Gateway is an excellent choice. Layout offers just enough challenge to make you think before hitting. Fairways are cut not to high or thick. Greens are some of the best in the area. The staff has always welcomed me upon arrival, provided helpful hints when ask. Rates are some of the best in the area.
It’s a public course
Look it’s not the prettiest of courses, they even have people cutting the grass on the fairways while you are trying to tee off, but for 10 bucks the price is too good to pass up on. A lot of straight holes, no crazy bends or creative holes.
Very beginner friendly. If you can hit the ball, you can play this course.

Wow I can't believe this course is on such great shape. Paid nearly nothing!!! It's in a park and can't believe the average Joe hasn't tore it up. Charles is awesome!!! I,met a regular named snowman and loves the course. I played on a foggy cloudy day, no rush great pace. Tee to green awesome. Played the blues, good challenges especially the drivable hole, on in one left with a bird. Whoever the super is they know how greens are supposed to be. Great speed, receptive to a quality wedge in. Pure as a billiard table, some of the best I've played on. Only negative was whoever cuts the cups needs a lesson on needling the old one. Too many were scalped by the greens mow. Traps were racked!!! Overall a great 9 hole. Well taken care of. By players and staff. Could of used the restroom key. Will,be back to play when visiting.
