Superb Course, Great Value
Superb course. It's a challenge, but there's plenty of options for safe play for bogey golf. It needs good decisions moreso than good shots.
Facilities are great too. A few too many slow golfers though.
Excellent exprience
Everything is good just wish the greens can be a bit faster.
the sanded greens ruined a good course on the day. The pro shop told us beforehand which was great. But when booking thru GN this may have been a deal breaker if it was stated
Great course
Played early morning and essentially had the course to ourselves. Fantastic layout, immaculate condition and will definitely be back.
Just a great golf course
Course is excellently laid out with a variety of holes and set in a beautiful location. The bunkering is extreme and requires accuracy both from the tee and approaches. The bunkers themselves had fine sand of equal depth throughout and allowed for aggressive and consistent strikes. The Par 3’s are excellent. Course condition was very good although the greens had been hollow tined and sanded but still rolled true. Lots of undulations on the greens. Great value through GN.
Back 9 closed
Usually really enjoy twin creeks. Unfortunately the back 9 was closed which the course didn’t notify anyone about, were a few annoyed groups out there. Holes 6 & 7 both had tees pushed up a long way kind of ruining those holes.
On the plus side it looks like they’re taking better care of the bunkers than recently so maybe they’re investing again. Really great layout and greens in good condition.
Played Twins Creeks course yesterday. Was a perfect day for it.
The pace of play was horrendous through holes 8/9/10
Time to tee off on those holes was 20-35 minute wait - unacceptable and a course marshall is required to speed up the pace of play.
Our group was so frustrated by the waiting that we decided not to play the back 9 for which we'd paid and go home early
Overpriced
$100 with no cart a round is a g-up. $56 for 6 Great Northerns was laughable. When the round was booked nothing was said about playing behind Pennants. 3.5 hours for 9 holes was crazy. Teed off at 1236 and ran out of daylight. Only managed 13 holes. Never felt more ripped off for a round of golf ever. Unfortunate as this was a bucket list course for me to play being from Far NQ.
Course needs more maintenance, especially watering the green, feel like playing in desert no green
Lay out of the course is good and challenging, however it really needs investment, course maintenance, watering the green, feel like playing in desert course. $100 is a bit over price compare to other private courses in Sydney
Just a very good golf course simple as that
Nice mix of holes set in great surroundings. Course condition very good with challenging bunkering and sloping greens throughout. Bit of space off the tee but wides will be punished.
Great course
Really love this course! It’s easy enough to walk but also good in a cart. It’s not the cheapest course on golf now but definitely worth the money
Highly recommend
Bring your sand wedge
Played midweek hotdeal. Fairways and greens in good condition. Greens are huge in size with slope. Course has many bunkers. Bunkers in poor condition but I think this may be due to recent high rain fall. Course has excellent practise facilities with range, chipping and putting greens. Beware of crows taking your ball. I had two yellow balls taken on the one hole. Challenging course but too many bunkers for me
