Churchill Park Golf Club - The West Course

A 7:08 tee off on a still Sunday morning. On the first hole we had a mob of kangaroos to our left with half a dozen baby joeys watching the spectacle that was our 1st and 2nd shots as we shook free the warm-ups and hoped for better shots later in the round…but not too much later! 🤞 ALL fairways had width to spare and should a shot go a little wider that expected and into the mature tree lined fairways, you’ll most likely find your ball with well maintained brush. The Sand Pits that face you on your approach to the beautifully ample greens, are light and fluffy. I must admit I’ve often struggled at other course’s sand traps, but not here, I exited with efficiency leaving me feeling pretty good about my skills…the fluffy sand clearly contributed. (Until I lost 3 shots in the sand on the last.). Overall a superb way to spend a Sunday morning and highly recommended to all. Cheers.

Good challenging public course. Kept well and would definitely play again.

Churchill Waverley, has 2 courses. Rowville and Endeavour Hill. I played the EH course. It's nice and quiet and the pace of play was great, no waiting time on a nice Saturday afternoon.

The course is located on the side of a hill and considering it's called Churchhill one would have thought it was obvious. Its nice and quiet, well maintained and the greens are quite fast right now but it comes with its range of frustration of watching the ball go sideways before settling in the gutter left or right.

Most of the fairways are lined with trees which can make it challenging when a ball doesn't quite go as straight as planned.

Good course for everyone, beginners and hacks alike.

This is a challenging course with several dog leg holes.A very friendly member agreed to play with us a helped direct our play.

We had a nice round guided around by a member. The course was dry and firm.

The guy in the shop was very helpful. Great day out

Pretty nice course. Only negative is there is hardly and sand in the bunkers which created many skipped bunker shots around the greens.

Committee is very rude to green frees . I had a friend at Churchill but he let his handicap go and joined another club. He said the club was divided and the commitee were useless. They did not look after green frees and treated the members even worse.

Ok course the guy running the shop about as welcome as having a tooth extracted… not very friendly at all
