Eagle Ridge Golf Club

Really enjoyed the course. There is maintenance on some holes at the moment so areas of GUR. A lot of strategically placed bunkers especially on the back 9 to test your sand iron skills, several of which could do with attention. Lovely clubhouse and very helpful staff. Sadly though the day was spoiled by an inconsiderate party of 3 x 4 balls in front who were out for a good time. They were very slow players and selfishly held up the whole field. We had to pair up with other players as 4 groups backed up waiting on the par 3 tees. The round took over 5 hours as no course marshal came to tell the guys to get a move on!

For what your paying this is extremely good value for a day out at Eagle Ridge.

Previous review was too harsh for this great course.

The more I play it the more I look forward to the next visit.

Do yourself a favor and have a game here, it is well worth it.

Fantastic course in excellent condition with a great layout. The facilities are immaculate and clearly very well maintained.

Unfortunately, our round was slowed considerably as we were paired with two senior players. They were friendly, but the pace of play impacted the overall experience.

Still a great course and one I’d be happy to play again.

Course left in very poor condition, divots unfilled, plug marks on greens in disrepair.

Bunkers ok.

There is no longer a golf range attached for a good warm up as needed for a tree lined course which is disappointing.

Short game chipping area, putting green, bunkers with warm up nets on the side excellent.

Once upon a time this was a pleasure to play at but the conditions of the course does not hold that high regard as say Moonah Links or the Dunes. In the past have chosen to play here other than the others but not the case these days. Groups of four in front hacking up the course and taking their time as if they owned the place.

Lastly if you do decide to play here make sure to take your buckets of bug spray, coat it on nice and thick and top up after 9 or so.Lol

Tricky course, greens in really bad repair. Very slow pace of play & super expensive for what you get.

First time on the course and was really impressed with the layout especially for $40. Such a fun golf course to play

All in all a good course. Disappointing that we were charged $50 for carts x 2 $100 when 20 minutes later the cost would have been $60 including a cart.

$49 for golf, cart and a pie. Extremely good value down at Eagle ridge. The course has been here for ages, and while not in the class of The newer Moonah Links And St Andrews Beach, it holds its own as an accessible and challenging facility.

All of the fairways are tight and require thought and accuracy off the tee. Definitely no need for the driver on each hole.

There are a plethora of deep bunkers and slopes to navigate throughout the course. The greens were in superb shape. Smooth, fast and true.

Some excellent holes include the up hill 6th par three with a multi-tiered green and enormous pot bunker in the front. I also enjoyed the following par 5 8th that gives you an opportunity to go for the green in 2 if your Drive is well placed.

The 18th is a very tough hole. With a blind tee shot down a slope and then some bunkers force you to either layup or go really long.

Enjoyable experience. Nice club rooms but couldn’t eat or have a beer in there due to covid
