The course is in very good condition and it’s 6,500 yards from the white tees so it’s challenging for average players. It has black tees that stretches the yardage over 7.2K for those long hitters. So it’s setup for different types of players. They do a good job on trying to keep foursomes moving so you can complete your round in less than 4.5 hours.

Jaws and his team have done great things with this course. Treat yourself and play.

I was just trying to sneak 9 holes in before the long weekend. Was charged $40 for 9 holes at 6:30 on a weekday. When I said I don't think that charge is right, the young kid behind the counter did not know what to do. I've played 18 holes there for the same price. Secondly, he the starters, guys at the carts failed to mention that the entire course had been aerated. Teeboxes , fairways, greens. Besides that, it was the worst shape I've seen it in a few years. Unable to hit any putts as the greens were sandy and freshly aerated. Will not go back here the rest of the year.

Course is always great. The greens are almost fully healed from aerating so when I go back next week I’m sure it will be back to one of the best public track shows close to center city

Living in Philly this is an easy convenient course to get to. I have been coming here for a few years now. Seems like the same time every year the course just gets into bad shape and pace of play just gets worse. Tee boxes were bad from whites, decent from blues. Pace of play was about 5 hours and 10 minutes for a Sunday afternoon round. The starters and rangers were nice, but weren't really doing anything about it. Looked like a lot of first time players were out there, but not keeping pace. Fairways and rough were in good shape.

Still a challenging course, but pace of play tee boxes and greens need to be in better shape to warrant the higher price point. I will be back but hoping for better pace of play and greens to be in better shape.

An hour drive but worth it!

The only thing that was great about this course was the staff. Everything else was very disappointing. It appears as though the ownership decided to cut out all the trees and long grass, making this course much much easier than advertised. There’s no way they’ve had the course re-rated since the modifications. It all just screams “greedy owner” and not someone who wants to create a great golf experience. Bottom line, the course wasn’t challenging, the greens were in terrible sale (whoever rolls them has no clue what they’re doing), there were clumps of dead grass clippings in the second cut everywhere.... all things that just don’t add up to one of the most expensive rounds in the area. Don’t waste your money.

I loved the layout of the course! It was really cool to be right across the river from the city. The views were wonderful. We ran into some rough weather conditions and the staff member that came out to tell us that the course was closing was not courteous. He went out of his way to verbally attack my friend. Now, he did realize his mistake and apologized but it left a sour taste for a little while. Aside from that, the remaining part of the experience was great.

Nice layout , good greens pace of play was fine. Staff was very friendly! Love the Bar and restaurant on site!

I've been playing this course since it opened, about once a season. They have improved pace of play, bunkers are perfectly maintained, layout is good. Greens had a lot of divot damage, felt long and soft too. Ran true, but in my opinion they could use some sand to firm them up. Looks like they are preparing for the hot summer by keeping em soft. Played in a little over 4hrs with a 4some.

Played this course numerous times but not in the last 2 years. Changes on hole #1 and #9 have made the course easier. Once protected wet lands now playable surfaces. Still in good shape and can’t beat the views.

I love this course.. being a woman it was easy to navigate the course. It was flat not too much obstacle around.. I would recommend this course to any woman beginners or advanced.. can’t wait to go back and play again

We knew we were going to be working hard to get this round in but we faught our way through heavy rain at times as well as dodging lightning in the area. We made it to the 15th hole and the ranger told us to hold on finishing the round and give it 30 minutes to see what happens. What? We were shocked. 4 groups left on the course and they hold us up? After working all day to get the round in? We could have easily hustled the last 3 holes to complete the round. Stuffed by the course we carefully navigated all day to get it in. Very disappointed, no rain check or other offer to help us deal with 15 / 18 holes.

As a 2some we were paired with 2 locals. They were a delight and helpful with our shot selection. The course was in great condition with a fun and challenging back 9.

I haven't played the course in many years because I was a member at a private club. The only hole I remembered was 17 and in my opinion it's still a great hole.

The overall conditions were better than I expected. The tee boxes were good and the condition of the greens were better than good. I was actually surprised with the speed of them. (somewhat fast). My only suggestion is that Jaw's invests in some divot repair tools and the pro shop should give each player one and a quick lesson on how to repair their divots. We probably fixed 5 per hole.
