great layout with challenges on all holes,can be scenic ,good conditions,pace of play can be improved if staff would encourge players to choose proper tees .still some rough edges like areas of gravel were cart paths should be,lack of rest rooms[porto jonhs]..range is fine , practice putt area large and convienient .
with a few refinements morris co could have itself the best county course in north jersey

Very picturesque layout, interesting holes, great condition for late season. Well worth the money.

The course was in very good condition the only thing I would like to be different though is that the fall rates should be a little bit lower compared to the other courses in the area other than that everything was great

this was the first time that i have played this course and it was a fantastic course.kept pristine condition. fairways greens . totally recommend this course.

The course is difficult to player for high handicap golfer

Cart path only adds at least 45 min to round. Hole #3 is impossible for people with bad knees or bad hips. No handicapped flags available! Cart path should be on right side of fairway making for easier accessibility!

Maintained Fairly Well. Greens a little on the slow side but tricky given the hilly surroundings. Played this course five times this year and each was a 4 1/2 to 5 hours round which is the only complaint I have. They could use a half way house as the 9&10th holes dont come back to the club house.

Have been playing here for a few years now. Pro-shop process for golfnow reservations is efficient and starters are friendly. Very picturesque course with beautiful vistas especially in the fall. Greens are undulating, fast and challenging.
Pace of play is atrocious at best. Rangers could do a much better job in moving things along by having slow players pick up and move to the green or next tee. This would benefit everyone.

The course was in great shape and each hole had its own unique twist to it. Most courses loose creativity at some point as is evident by holes that go back and forth.

The course is very interesting. I probably played the wrong tees as I lost quite a few balls on the back nine due to the need of carrying water. I was glad I played it, but I would only play when a good deal is offered. It is much too pricey for a Morris County course; tomorrow I am playing Flanders Valley, and it is a much better value, and the course is very well maintained.

I've played this course on and off for many years. In the last year I have seen marked improvements in condition, playability and pleasant staff. Saw a mother bear on the course and they let us play through.

The first couple of holes always backup. Whoever designs a public course with a 240 yd par 3 hole as the 2nd hole is crazy
The 4th hole is a par 5 that carts are restricted to the cart path because of some serious damage to the fairway.Then 5 is a short hole downhill to a fairway that again carts are restricted to the cart path and the green is uphill for the 2nd shot that most people cannot hit because it is to severe. Next is a blind downhill par 3 but then the course gets alot better,thank goodness.

Good course. Greens in good shape. First few holes hilly but after that very nice design. Well worth playing

Nice course, first time there. Nice conditions for late in the season. There was a frost delay, but to be expected. The staff at that time was ok, nothing great. Definitely give it a try.
