Quick play made for a fun day
First time playing here, course was in fair conditions greens decent shape normal wear from people not fixing marks. Wife enjoyed playing they course as it wasn't overwhelming on the yardages but still challenging for me. Definitely recommend for a quick 9 while staying at the seaside communities for vacation or just for a quick 9.
Great Value
Great price to play golf at the Jersey shore, especially through Golfnow. The course itself needs work,
What a dump
Played here before yesterday and the course conditions were ok. Now, it's horrible . Also, nobody is around to manage the tee times and groups. I went off as a single behind a twosome who were behind a slow foursome. Never again. When you pull in, you might think the place went out of a business the way the property looks. They might be going out soon based on my experience.
Ball marks
The course is in great shape and the staff there seems to work very hard at it. But its the golfers responsibility to fix his or her ball Marks. So if you make a ball Mark please fix it. only takes a couple seconds.
Hidden Gem!
This course is a great value and in great shape. The only complaint would be about the players not fixing their divots.
Great value Golf
Great course for the price. Staff were very friendly. Just wish golfers would take more time fixing there divots and ball marks to keep course in shape.
The Pines 7/12/16
Nice day,
well manicured course,
friendly staff
My wife and I were at the first tee behind a foursome of " not so experienced" players. 2 singles came along and joined in with us.
Pace of play was slow but, none in my foursome were in any particular hurry. It made for a nice relaxed round.
Quite a pleasant experience.
Very good
Staff are great. Course is always well maintained
Good for my wife she is just learning
My wife and I played, she is learning and it is a good for me to practice on .
Enjoyable
I like this course because it is well maintained and secluded, not surrounded by houses. I live nearby and have played here before and intend to return regularly.
Fun round
Great course, never crowded, a nice way to get a quick 9 holes in before you start your day.
Terrible
Terrible place to play unless u you like playing behind a bunch of crumbs. Prepaid for 11:00 tee time and didn't tee off till almost 11:30. Staff was rude and didn't care at all about tee times. Very unorganized. Joke of a course especially in the summer when the shoebees are around. I'll never go back!!
Nice little course
This 9 hole, par 31 course was definitely worth the GolfNow price. Not too challenging, tee boxes were in good shape. Not enough people fix their ball marks on the green which is a problem every where. I would definitely play here again.
Slow slow pace
I only recommend this course if you have the first or second tee time of the day. The price is low and the charge for a cart is only $8 dollars that being said of the just raised the course fee a few buck and gave everyone a cart it would help. I stood at each tee box for at least 10 minutes waiting. If you have the patience and time the course is pretty good and in great condition for 20-25 dollars.
Nice course for a quick round to play
My second time playing here. The staff is friendly and the price is unbeatable.
Keep your expectations in check, and you will have a good time.
If you go in knowing what to expect from this executive course you won't be disappointed. This isn't a top course down at the shore, but worth playing if you are a beginner/high-handicapper. I wouldn't pay their full posted price, but if you get a hot deal it is worth playing ($10 at noon). Don't rent a cart because most holes are cart path only. Make sure you bring bug spray, course gets buggy after the first couple holes. Fairways are pretty tight and depending on your length, you can use a driver on only 3 holes (1,3,8) (I only used it once on 3 and nearly outdrove the fairway), but you don't really need to use it. Greens are flat, a lot of ball marks on the green but expected from a beginner course. Playing from the whites make the course significantly easier, any non-beginner should play from the blues for a challenge. I started as a single but joined up with another single behind me as I ran up on a foursome. Expect a lot of beginners/high-handicappers. Finished in approx. 2 hours.
Short n sweet
This coarse is a fun coarse to take a beginner or your wife or girlfriend. This is a short coarse great to improve your short game. You will like it and the price is set at a nice value.
Good Course
Though short from the whites, we play from the blue tees. Great practice for long par 3's. Go have fun with this course.
Course conditions
Course was great from tee to green however the greens were very spotty. I am usually a very good putter and today I three putted six of the nine holes and I blame it on my ball bouncing towards the hole rather than rolling.
