Pleasant course
Found a tee time on last minute golf for $15/person with cart. That's a good deal. We only wanted to play 9 holes. The club house was what you should expect. There was no problem paying online with golfnow.
After we loaded our bags, we started to walk to the putting green. It was 9:55. Our tee time was 10:10. The man working there hurried us by asking us to get to the first tee. Apparently there was a scramble at 1:00. I understand the reason, but a tee time is a tee time. Other than that issue, the course played nice!
I would go back there again!
Last min tee time
this place was great for a last min tee time while on vacation. Staff was excellent and extremely polite
Nice 9 hole course
We played on a very cold day, just wanted to get out. The course is a 9 hole course with half par 3s and half par 4s. It is not for the high end player but is nice for the average golfer. The price was great and the staff was super friendly. We really enjoyed the round.
great deal for the money
convenient. Not crowded when we played. Took about
11/2 hrs. to play. greens in good condition
A pleasant surprise!
This is a very pretty course that was fun to play. There are 5 par 3 holes and 4 par 4s, all of which are beautiful. This course is not for the avid golfer looking for challenging holes but it is a fair test of the average golfer.
Nice putting greens
Course is always in excellent condition. I always meet great people. Remember this is a nine hole course so patience is required.
wonderful little course
this is a short 9 hole course which is perfect for just a quick round. the weather was extremely hot so the course was wide open and even though the price is great the course conditions are good.
Good value
Nice little course, very good pace of play, tight layout seemed to have errant tee shots flying around...greens were a little beat up with ball marks, (many not fixed, on the players, not the course) but still surprisingly fast. Enjoyed the course will come back when in the area.
good short course
9 hole shorter course. Geared towards seniors and average golfers. I have taken my 7 year old out and he can handle most holes. There is water to look out for and some sand around the greens that are hard to get out of. Fun course and you can finish in a hour and a half
first tee tie up
Played on a monday tee time @ 8:40 am , first tee was lined up with groups waiting to tee off aparently members do not need a tee time and can walk on at any time , my 8:40 tee time did not tee off until 9:25, course was in good shape and geens rolled true. So my 9 hole round took a total of 3 hours, i know i am at a resort location but that is way too long.
Grounds
This course was in pristine condition the grounds keeper couldn't have
Done anything more to improve the greens. Wish I live close to here I would play it all thw time.
Perfect 9 Holes
If at Jersey Shore and you want to play a quick 9 holes I recommend The Pines at Clermont! Tree lined yes, but you will use most clubs in bag and before you know it you had a FUN round.
A Pleasant Walk Through the Pines
My wife and I had a very pleasant walk through the pines of South Jersey. This 9 hole course is fun to play, not very difficult and well worth the $20 greens fees. I recommend walking, the course is short and flat. The condition of the course was fine.
Fun little course
The course was a little challenging due to the narrow fairways but other than that, it was fairly easy if you put your first shot in the fairway. Not the best kept course but I'm not good enough to demand much more. The carts were very good as-well.
Value for money
Paid $10 including cart and this is one of the best values for money anywhere. Course is in decent shape but when a course costs less than a mini golf course - what do you really expect?! Really enjoyed playing it and will be back again even at the full price.
Good course for irons.
Mostly par 3's. Used woods twice. Small but soft greens. Greens were in good shape as were the fairways and tee boxes.
Good For Nine
If the golfers would only fix their ball marks, this course would be rated in all phases excellent. Very friendly staff. Course very challenging with narrow fairways. I would recommend for a quick nines holes of golf. Good value. Steve Tuers.
Overpriced coupled with rude staff
The course is severely overpriced given the length of the course (2200 yard part 31) and the mediocre conditions. The course is truly more for beginners and younger kids. I was there with a beginner and could see past the course's obvious short comings, but when the staff is also rude and disengaged, the experience isn't worthwhile. I would suggest visiting more professional courses in the area for a few extra bucks.
