Hyatt Hills Golf Complex

Played as a 4 with 3 random guests - all great fun.

All knew golf etiquette and played accordingly yet we aere targeted by a Marshall for slow play despite having to wait on every hole, despite others in front taking numerous mulligans, crossing our fairway to play shots without asking........

Poor in my opinion but will that it as a one off.

The weather was hot, but not too humid. The course was in great condition. Did not have to wait too long for each shot. Thankfully, the ranger was out making sure pace of play was good. A good time for a good price.

First time playing Hyatt Hills was July 4th. I had been to the driving range and mini golf but not played the 9 as other 9 hole courses in this are dog tracks (West 9). I got out on time, played 9 in just over 2 hours and all 4 walked. Fairways and rough were in really good shape, greens were hard and fast but expected given the hot weather we have had here. Some challenging holes but overall a pretty straight forward layout. I would come back.

Pace of play could have been better. Since there is usually no Ranger patrolling, backlogs are frequent. Also, the pro shop staff is usually too preoccupied with each other and service needs work. Should hire staff with a modicum of maturity and professionalism.

Course is in great shape. Plays fair. Pace of play was ridiculous. No Ranger to move people along. Rates for twilight with a cart were a touch high (Biflation?) .. especially if they are not moving groups along. The group that was behind us bailed after the 6th hole.. as there were 3 groups on 7, 2 on 8 from what I could see. Oh yeah, I had the ranger cart and it was shoeing one group was 48 minutes behind.

Pace of play is real..

This is my go to course in Union county. I never have trouble finding a tee time and most times i book the day before.

A great mental toughness course. Even though being a 9-hole course, you have an array of bunkers, high grass rough, and water in play. Most greens are bunker protected and leveled to challenge your read, and the Par 3 7th hole is over water znd pitches towardsit. This course is perfect to refinements your skills. and it's makes you think your shoke.

The grounds are in excellent condition, you see grounds keepers maintaining it constantly, and players respect the great vonditions, you rarely see a cart on the fairway, perfect length for a walking cart ( rentable)

There is a driving range, half heated for winter, a 2 level practice green, and a pitching green w bunker before the 1st hole.

O'Briens is their pub /restaurant/ pizzeria, with an outdoor patio.

They also have a mini golf course for the kiddies.

They have one of the best pro's in the NYC area as well

It's my favorite course, by far for getting in a quick play, and has improved my game dramatically.

Sometimes hard to get prime tee time, but you can , I do.

A MUST TRY, can't go wrong
