About
Colts Neck Golf Club is one of central New Jersey's most popular courses. The diverse course offers everything from Scottish-style bunkers to sparkling lakes. Tall golden fescue rough borders the fairways and the greens are large and undulating. The course is seemingly short at only 6,236 yards but it shouldn't be taken lightly. It's much more challenging than it appears. The layout finishes with two of its toughest holes. The 17th has a tough green fiercely guarded by out-of-bounds and the course saved the most difficult hole for last. This par 3 will test even the most seasoned golfers. In addition to the golf course, Colts Neck also has a 25-station driving range that stays open late. It's a great spot for getting in some practice after work.

Not in very good shape
Had been driving by on Rt 34 and from the road the course looked to be in fantastic condition.
When we got on the course it was obvious from the first tee it was not in very good shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all have issues.
I belong to a pvt course so I may just be spoiled but I would expect better from a semi pvt.
Pebble Creek just down the road is in much better shape and gets twice the amount of play. I will not be returning anytime soon.
Beverage policy makes this no go.
Unless you are a member they won't serve you beer from the beverage cart. Not going back.
Tees not good shape
tees need a lot of work- poor grass conditions
snack shopped closed when we went by at 4pm and no sight of drink cart.
The pace of play was horrific
We had a group in front of us playing multiple balls each. Hitting off the tee 5 times and looking for balls. The ranger did nothing to move the game along. Additionally this course only serves alcoholic beverages to members so we couldn’t even drink while waiting 20 minutes to tee off at every hole.
Nice course but terrible cart rules.
Went out at 5:12. They let us take carts. Never saying anything. At 8 came around and said carts must go back. Lost out on over 30-40 min of golf.
Great course
Lucky to get a good Hot Deal to play. Reasonable price on Golf Now, otherwise too costly. Staff is great and very friendly. Always treated with great respect even though not a member. Course was in good shape for getting so much play. Love the layout, especially the Par 3 last hole. Always a challenge. Highly recommend with a hot deal.
Glorified muni
6200 yard municipal dog track that charged 100$..how does the superintendent keep the job. It's got private memberships that you couldn't give away. So disappointing to see a course so poorly handled. Garbage
Course is Good.
Had a fun day of golf with friends. Course was in very good shape, greens are fast and challenging.
