Colts Neck Golf Club

This course is almost perfection. Once the tee boxes are all grown in (probably in another week or two), it will be perfect. Greens are really good, not insanely fast but NOT slow. Probably the 10th time I’ve played here over the years - positively the best shape it’s been in for the last few years. Looking forward to more rounds there this year.

My tee time booked last Saturday through Golf now was for 2:21 pm today. On Tuesday I received a call from the course saying mistake was made on tee sheet and they moved my time back 18 minutes. What they did was put 2 foursomes of older gentlemen who were incredibly slow and no Ranger moving them along and it was a horrible

5hr n 8 minute round.

Also 77 degrees and the cart girl left and no one on the course knew about it. This course use to be pristine and tee boxes horrible as well as greens and is definitely not a $60 course. I won't come back here.

Great course great workers had a blast

Traveled about an hour to play here for the first time. It was definitely worth the drive. $45 walking was a great price and a much better course than what you get where I live in Bergen County. Staff was friendly and course was in great shape. Definitely will come.e back.

Not worth the money. Greens and fairways not in good shape. Very disappointing.

Course was good, somewhat recently aerated greens. Shop cashier was a very friendly guy and the bob was super funny and very friendly. Can’t speak for the food as we didn’t have any. $63 with cart, which I would say is about the price of county courses in the area, and I’d say the green are just about the same quality. All around great experience.

Fairways were fine, but the greens were bad, and I was not told when I booked that greens were recently aerated, or at least appeared to be. Pace for most of the round was slow due to a slow two-some in front of our group, but ranger comes by and blames us for the slow play. Only real positive I can give it us the course layout, and even then, it's mainly for the front 9. The back 9 is inferior to the front 9, and it has one of my biggest pet peeves, and that's having a Par 3 finishing hole. You don't end the round on a Par 3, and I hate it when courses do this. I recognize this is a personal thing, but it's one that I can't wrap my head around.

The course is always well maintained but to charge 90 dollars a round for air raided greens is a bit much

Since moving to the area I've played here 4 times. So far I usher had an issue. The guys behind the counter have been on punt, quick about it and generally Knowledgeable regarding who's teeing off and what is going on. I mention this bc plenty of times at courses there is chaos, no communication etc. Though it's not asking much, having reliable people behind the counter is enough to keep me coming back
