About
Colts Neck Golf Club is one of central New Jersey's most popular courses. The diverse course offers everything from Scottish-style bunkers to sparkling lakes. Tall golden fescue rough borders the fairways and the greens are large and undulating. The course is seemingly short at only 6,236 yards but it shouldn't be taken lightly. It's much more challenging than it appears. The layout finishes with two of its toughest holes. The 17th has a tough green fiercely guarded by out-of-bounds and the course saved the most difficult hole for last. This par 3 will test even the most seasoned golfers. In addition to the golf course, Colts Neck also has a 25-station driving range that stays open late. It's a great spot for getting in some practice after work.

Just OK
Course is ok. Short par 70 even from the tips. Snack bar at the turn isn’t open and the cart that goes around is cash only. Due to its semi private nature many of the amenities are members only.
Not a difficult course, very manageable.
Course layout is nice. You can see your target 98% of the time. Nice fairways for end of March, real nice greens. On a good day I can shoot even par here and I’m a 8 hcpper.. Has a driving range to blow some time if you get there early , like I always do. Also has a chipping green up next to #1 green. Small bucket of balls was 9 bucks, a bit extreme. Overall a real nice course for 68 bucks but not a 100 dollar course.

Nerve charging 90 bucks
6 years ago this was one of the nicest courses around well worth the 90 dollars to drive on the weekend. Now it is warn out. Fairways are all beat up some sand traps have rocks in them. Would be a decent course fore 40 dollars. They even went as far to remove the electronic gps on the carts. Good luck if you don’t have a range finder. Very disappointing. Just not the same as it used to be.

Solid track fir winter in the northeast and im sure its even better during the season
Great day good course.
We had a fun day. Course in good shape. But its winter golf. Can't expect great conditions. I liked it.
