About
Colts Neck Golf Club is one of central New Jersey's most popular courses. The diverse course offers everything from Scottish-style bunkers to sparkling lakes. Tall golden fescue rough borders the fairways and the greens are large and undulating. The course is seemingly short at only 6,236 yards but it shouldn't be taken lightly. It's much more challenging than it appears. The layout finishes with two of its toughest holes. The 17th has a tough green fiercely guarded by out-of-bounds and the course saved the most difficult hole for last. This par 3 will test even the most seasoned golfers. In addition to the golf course, Colts Neck also has a 25-station driving range that stays open late. It's a great spot for getting in some practice after work.

92$ for those greens feels very iffy. Shag carpets come to mind on top of being almost mossy
Course itself was well let otherwise and the pace was fine for a Sunday mid day.
Staff inside and with the carts was great friendly and always smiling.
I’ve played there for the price when well kept and it’s a steal this time felt the opposite
Good track, was pleasantly surprised....
I enjoyed my time at Colts Neck. i thought the design and layout were really good. A nice mix of different kinds of holes. I'm not a fan of finishing 18 holes on a par 3, but outside of that, there were some well-designed holes. The fairways were nice, and the greens were surprisingly quick, although a bit bumpy and weren't cut or rolled. Maybe because it was a Monday and maybe they were just recently arerated???? I'd go back in a heartbeat! Some holes a bit on top of one another but that is not really a big deal.
Poor Management
I like the golf course; however, the management was unacceptable. We had a 3:33pm TeeTime. We had to wait till 4pm because there were no golf carts available. Clearly this is not the fault of the golfers, but 100% to fault of the golf managment. Then, after playing a few holes there was a complete jam up at the 5th hole. It took almost 3hrs to play the front 9. Clearly, the golf course put way too many people on the course.
Greens
Unfortunately the greens are unplayable due to fungus and attempts at aeration.
Could be better
Greens in surprisingly poor condition when looking at the conditions of the rest of the course and grounds. Pace was slow but not terrible.

Colt
Not worth it. Greens were very patchy and rolled horrible. Courses like this one are charging too much and not upping their game. Get with the times. Put some money into the course before you take from it. Embarrassing track. Glad I wasn’t showing a client around. Also non friendly to non members. Clown track.
