About
Colts Neck Golf Club is one of central New Jersey's most popular courses. The diverse course offers everything from Scottish-style bunkers to sparkling lakes. Tall golden fescue rough borders the fairways and the greens are large and undulating. The course is seemingly short at only 6,236 yards but it shouldn't be taken lightly. It's much more challenging than it appears. The layout finishes with two of its toughest holes. The 17th has a tough green fiercely guarded by out-of-bounds and the course saved the most difficult hole for last. This par 3 will test even the most seasoned golfers. In addition to the golf course, Colts Neck also has a 25-station driving range that stays open late. It's a great spot for getting in some practice after work.

Enjoyed the course
I haven’t played here or golf for 4 years I was definitely rusty today but overall I enjoyed the group that I played with and the layout of the course, the course is kept up! I look forward to returning here to play again.
Great pace of play
As a newbie, this was a challenging course, but was a lot of fun and I had my moments.
Mediocre
Honestly, worst shape I’ve seen this course. The greens were extremely bumpy, not good shape, especially if you consider the courses around Colts Neck that are in great shape (Hominy and Pebble). There was no cart girl and all concessions were closed. Absolutely not worth $80 on golfnow.
Colts Neck
excellent conditions, the staff was extremely kind and friendly and great pace of play. Food/snack service on the course was pretty okay, as well. Will come back to this course !
Getting back to CC level
Colts Neck was always a nice place but the last few years have been barely average. This year it seems to be coming back to it high standards.Great job!
The Worst
The worst golf course in Monmouth county maybe the worst golf course in New Jersey. Conditions are awful, looks like they don’t have a superintendent. The owner should be ashamed of himself, I’m sure his house in Florida had better amenities then what he claims to be a semi private golf course. You couldn’t even pay me to go back and play there. They ought to give people there money back and close the doors honestly. Truly the biggest joke of an operation in the north east.
