The West course is a pleasure to play. Challenging but fair. Great balance of holes to score on and holes to survive and move on.
Played in just under 4 hours on a Friday afternoon. So great pace of play and friendly encounters with the starter and staff.
Sand traps could use some new sand and a bit of care but that’s the only complaint. It’s a terrific course and visually a great place to play
Greens were Aerated
Its just a terrible day when you get to the course and the greens are not puttable due to aeration .
golf courses should have the courtesy and post Aeration .Pay good money to play !!!!
Mercer Oaks West
First 18 Holes of season. Course conditions are going to get better. I have always liked this course and it's friendly staff
I only gave a course rating of three for one reason. It’s the beginning of the season and the grass is not growing. Very walkable course. Some challenging holes some shorter holes. Traps where not the best mainly because it rained early in the week. Price is very reasonable for a public course. I would highly recommend playing either course. But make sure to have a tee time

Excellent round, Great course
I played the Mercer Oaks West course. What a fantastic course. It is more than 1 hour drive for me, but definitely I am coming back more often.
Friendly staff, great course layout, and conditions.
Easy to walk (no up or down hills). Water hazards are there. Flat wide fairways.
Excellent course and I sure enjoyed the round.

Great course
The course was great as always, the only complaint I have was that some of the ball washers were completely dry and didn't have any water in them.

Worth every penny
Quite good golf experience although too many players do not repair on the green ball marks. It's too bad because the greens are otherwise in good condition.

Good shape for late November, challenge increases dramatically back at blue and blac tees, great value

Attention to detail
The pandemic has benefited the golf industry across the country, and perhaps around the world. Tee times are difficult to book because of demand. And the online option to reserve a tee time is the only gateway to secure a time. The reservation system needs improvement. As it stands now, a golfer who is registered in Mercer County can reserve online for four different courses, then cancel on three with no penalty. This means golfers trying to secure a time are blocked out. And when golfers who play this game cancel in less than 24 hours, it’s unfair to other golfers wishing to play have to go online several times a day at least and hope something comes up. Valuable play time and revenue are being squandered.
