Cranbury Golf Club

The course is in great shape if your ball was in the fairway, but if your ball went off by 10 yards in the rough, ycouldn’t find it. I lost at least six balls because they didn’t clear the leaves very far off the faraway leave work.

attempt to clear the leaves off other than the fairways, which are in very good shape. So sad because it wouldn’t take much to do that.

It's not the greatest course but good enough for the value of the money.

This review is about the round and not the course, which fairly deserves its current 3.9 rating. Rushing to make my tee time, I learned on arrival a frost delay would push it back by an hour or more. I chose this course and tee time to ensure I could play 18 holes and had I known in advance about the delay I would have canceled since traveling 90 minutes to play 13 or 14 holes was not what I planned. In light of the small practice putting green and no place to chip, it would have been a nice gesture to those waiting more than an hour to offer a bucket of balls rather than selling them at full price. Compounding the problem was the golf carts. It seemed they sent out as many of the delayed golfers as they could, which required waiting for golfers to finish their round to circulate carts. Adding insult and delay, more than a few golf carts broke down, including both in our foursome. My playing partner and I conceded defeat to the course as the sun was setting and our dead cart was sitting and we both carried our bags back to the clubhouse to report the inoperable cart and leave what would be a memorable round, albeit not for the reasons golfers would prefer. Frost delays happen and obviously are not the fault of the course operators. Perhaps they had no way to reach the golfers who were impacted, but I think that besides getting new carts (which I understand is planned), being more accommodating to those enduring the unexpected wait would have been a smart gesture of goodwill.

For me, the primary selling point for Cranbury is their incredibly friendly and helpful staff. It’s not just one person. It feels like it’s the entire team.

I’ve always thought this is a great value course.

Course was in good shape, starter was courteous. He added a walker to our twosome, we were riding. The foursome in front of us were very slow, we waited on every hole. Could have been waived through but I think they were clueless. Two holes opened up in front of them when we called the Pro Shop as recommended by the course. Ranger rode out and did nothing. We continued to wait it was a 4 hour and 40 minute round. Fortunately it was a beautiful day. Not planning a return trip.

No matter waht day or time I play at Cranbury I'm greeted like a family member. The staff is friendll, accommodating and never short of smiles! The course has been in great condition including well maintained greens. The restaurant and bar staff are always smiling and engaging.

Course is always kept greens are very well groomed employees are exceptional. Starting from the Golf pro Adam mike who is bar manager and Phil who takes care of the carts and tee times I would recommend this course to everybody. Great job guys.

This is one of my favorite courses and have never said anything negative about the course, but there is a first time for everything. Had 12:50pm tee time, but didn't tee off for 30-40 minutes because of yet another outing and even then we did not go out in order as I believe the 1:00pm group went out before us. That was really frustrating because I believe there was a major lack of communication from the starter as to what was going on. Of course the pace was slow (5 hour round) and luckily we were able to finish the round just at sunset. Not a good experience and might just skip out on Cranbury for the rest of the Fall.

Enjoyef except for the bunkers. Very lttle sand and too many rocks. Some bunkers did not have rakes. Seems like an easy fix. I fixed about six ball marks per green and could have done twenty on some. Gave up as the round proceeded. (Not the fault of the course).

Love this course, it’s our go to!

The course was in great shape and pace of play was perfect. As always, the staff are always courteous.
