Mercer Oaks Golf Course - West Course

Excellent course, the greens and fairways are in excellent shape. The starters are incredibly helpful and welcoming. The grounds crew and patrons do a good job of keeping the course free of litter and replacing divots on the greens. The rate of play is well maintained by the ranger and fellow golfers keep a good pace. My concern is that this course like many do not provide drinkable water for golfers. In the summer months, drinkable water is an issue. I hope that courses including Mercer Oaks reevaluate this policy.

The greens on the West Course are in great shape, fast and true. Overall conditions, tee boxes and fairways, were very good as well. All the staff members we came in contact with were friendly and accommodating. As a threesome, all shooting in the low 90’s we played our round in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Looking forward to our next round at Mercer Oaks!

West Course has always been a wonderful place to play.

You can’t go wrong at Mercer!! Place never disappoints. Great round from start to finish.

I loved everything about this course. I walked 18 and enjoyed every second of the day. And the round only took 4 hours walking. Great pace of play.

Played west course fairways were pristine and green we nice and fast.

There was not a heads up re recent aeration.

Greens were slow and bumpy and too many fairways were littered with the effects of aeration,

A ball in the fairway was either in a rut or surrounded by the dirt debris,

It was my first time playing West this year, knowing the course I expected more.

Greens were aerated and were literal sand traps. I was not informed of this before teeing off by anyone. For the amount of money for a premium tee time you would think they would at-least tell you or give you some sort of reimbursement.

Course in good condition..haven’t played here in about 3years and unfortunately noticed that many trees were lost..such as no 2, which made the holes less interesting.

Relatively flat course but not an easy walk since there’s quite a bit of distance between some of the holes..ball washer don’t have any water.

Cours was in nice shape, staff were very friendly and helpful, but pace o play was a challenge. Walked off course after hole 11 to avoid getting aggravated.

Amazing course that I drove one hour and thirty minutes to get to. When we were teeing off the starter said the carts had to be in by 7:24. For context sunset was 7:30 and we went off at 3:30. Stater did say that if we made it to the 18th hole by 7:24 he wouldn’t chase us and that we could finish. We did get to the tee box right at 7:24 but unfortunately the staff did not communicate and another member of the staff came out to hassle us. My playing partner who I had never met had an amazing drive and after the encounter he tanked the rest of the hole. If you pay 50$ to play at 3:30 just have a little grace and let people finish. Golf is expensive and rather than stress out the golfers with drama just pay the staff an extra 30 minutes it shouldn’t be that big a deal. Drama is not good for golf. Great course staff needs lessons on how to interact with customers
