This course was in absolutely terrible condition. Absolutely not worth $48 to walk on a Sunday. Walking is the same price as riding in a cart. The staff inside where you pay was very rude. The group in front of us took forever and were fooling around every hole. There were large craters on the middle of some fairways - between 2x3 and 3x3 feet wide. The fairways were also filled with huge divot marks - none of which were repaired. Definitely would not recommend this course. There are plenty of other places in the area to go for less money and are in much, much better condition.

Since BTC has no marshals or rangers, pace of play can be awfully slow. In a effort to make more money, they now book tee times 8 min apart. Almost every time ive played there, there has been 1 or 2 groups that slow the entire course down. Playing from the wrong tees, to waiting for the green to clear before teeing off on a par 4. with no effort to maintain pace of play, if you finish under 5 hours consider yourself lucky. if you dont like waiting 10-15 min on every tee before you can hit, i suggest go somewhere else

I have been critical of BTC over the years. The course is in much better shape this year. It's a real good value for the cost. The bunkers and the cart paths need much more attention but the course and the greens are in above average shape.

Played twice this year. Slow rounds but the course wasn’t bad. I won’t be back till they rescind the corkage fee. I understand the concept, but if you aren’t selling beer at tee off time, don’t charge me to drink my own drinks.

Don’t try playing here after 5pm. Took 2.5 hours just to get 9 holes in. No refund offered for remaining 9. Will not play here again

We used to love to this course until we got harassed for having a cooler that we paid $10 to bring in by the starter…this place is terrible now

Overbooked, extremely slow, course was in shambles, massive ruts everywhere plus garbage and debris all over the place. I’ll never play there again

I have played here a few times this year and it is always the same - 5 hour round if not longer. Every time you pull up to #4, 2 foursomes waiting to tee off. I believe the tee times are staggered every 8 minutes, this coarse is geared towards beginner/intermediate golfers, the tee times should be spaced out every 10 minutes. I understand that means less tee times and less money for the coarse but do you also want to push away golfers due to the length of the round? Also I have never seen a ranger driving around to push the pace of play, also never seen a cart girl. There is a driving range but they don't have staff on site to pick up the balls on a Saturday morning to open up the range, put someone else on the staff! The carts paths are in pour condition, additional dirt/stones could easily be placed down to fill in these giant holes/bumps. They just started selling beer and now they are charging a cooler fee, never have seen that before! If management adjusted tee times, hired additional staff and invested some money into the coarse you would have many more happy golfers rather than people who walk away after a round looking for other places to play next week.

We had a late morning t-time and were told that they were running late by 10-15 minutes. Play of the course took just under 5 hours. 4 foresomes on some hole. Not a ranger in site. Looks like they overbook the course. Have played this course for a number of years. Always slow play and if you get your round done in 4:30 minutes that is unusual. The course has no food or facility to sit and have a sandwich and a beer. They have been open for many years and still do not have a restaurant. You must drive to the pro-shop up a hill, and drop off your bag. . Then after you park walk up this hill and get your cart. No carts allowed in the parking lot. A terrilble layout.

7:20am tee time, staff couldn’t be worse. They don’t sell alcoholic drinks there yet they forced us to pay a fee for bringing our own drinks on the course. Staff was very accusatory, inspecting our carts very thoroughly for any kind of drinks. Starter was a huge pain and extremely unfriendly. Conditions were atrocious. Had not rained all week with a little sprinkle the evening before and the course was absolutely soaked in the morning. Puddles all over the fairway. Second time playing this year and it was identical conditions to the previous time. Pace of play is usually horrible with the amount of people that are there and the caliber of players that go there. Absolutely horrible experience and don’t plan on playing there again for the rest of the season.

This course is not worth paying full price.

If it wasn't for the pre season promotion of 20 per round

we probably wouldn't play.

It's a shame because the layout is very good but upkeep is brutal. There's a hole in front of the first green that fills with water and doesn't drain until the weather really dries out. It's been like that for at least 3 yrs. now.

Nice large club house that never opened.

Prior to playing yesterday the last time I played the course was in horrible conditions. Tall Weeds in the fairways, no definition of fairway/rough and potholes everywhere. This time around no weeds and definition was there but the potholes are still there. The course could be a top course in WNY with TLC. Great layout.

Course has improved slightly but not worth the $48. Don't care much for not being able to drive a golf cart to your vehicle to load and unload your bag. No food or drink at the turn For whatever reason .

I’ve been coming here since they have opened, I enjoy the course BUT the cart paths awful, and there are a lot of ditches on many of the fairways and no they are not part of the course as “hazards”. Also the sand traps are always hard as concrete. If these 3 things would be addressed and fixed it would easily be one of the top courses around here, esp since they are finally getting amenities.

1st time I played in 3 years.. Had 6:05 pm tee time and paid 18 hold rate . Expected at least 12 to 13 holes given the time but because so many golfers were stacked up in front of us we completed 9 by the time it got dark. Requested either a " rain" check or some or some future credit and was told that didn't exist.. Should not have to pay for 18 holes when management knew or should have known the

number of players on the course made it impossible to even complete 12 to 13 holes.. Likely will not come back unless 9 whole rates are instituted.

Priorities are messed up at this club. The club house has been being built for two years and still isn't open. You're not going to get people to come there to eat or rent the clubhouse if it's ever finished without improving the course. Some tee boxes are nonexistent. Hole signage is nowhere to be found and pace of play is awful. They need a ranger to control pace of play. Gift certifies are only able to be used at certain times so if you don't have one and desperate to play get your tee time scheduled prior to 11am so you don't get stuck behind slow people .

Where do I begin? I can only start with a metaphor to accurately describe this course. BTC is the Yings of golf courses. The coveted local bar is known for bad conditions, bad decisions, and good people. This course continuously fails to provide a good golf experience. Although some days, they have it nailed. Like when the mark the tee box markers with beer cans because there are no other markers. I know I found the blues when a pile of Michelin Ultras are symmetrical placed across the tee box. The layout can make this a premier course in WNY instead they invested money into a clubhouse that took 10 years to build and still hasn’t been opened. Expect a 5-6 hour round. You may think you’re flying the first few holes but just wait until #4. #4 always hits…just hit your top flite Tiger, it’s not that hard.

9/10 would golf again
