Ok course.
Staff not friendly at all. Course it’s ok, but to be a Par 67 the pace too slow for my taste even though I teed off at 6:30 am

Nice course. Plays a little short (par 67) but with some hills and challenges which makes for a fun round. Course was in very good shape.

Great Local Course
Douglaston offers you a course that is well kept within the NYC Parks golf course collection. The course is a good mixture of difficult holes with elevations and drops to consider on your shots. Greens are nicely kept and some are being redone to replace the old used ones.
Depending on the day and weather pace of play can get a little slow. however on average the pace of play allows for a foursome to play 18 holes in 4 hrs.
There is a putting green available for pre-round practice. I do wish they had a driving range even if for only irons use. They could also use a more frequent beer/snack cart being made available on the course throughout the day.
