Very slow

Golf course allows five sums which takes forever to play after group like that. I even see guys playing for money and exchanging the dollar bills on the green not allowing next group to play. They don’t care about the pace after 2 1/2 hours on Tuesday I only complete eight holes, and I left .

I will never come back, and I will never, recommend this course to my friends

Good Round

I haven’t played at Douglaston in about 5 years or so due to my inactivity with golf. Wasn’t sure what to expect as I was playing my first round in a long time in early November. Temp was in the low 60s which made me think we might see a rush of people trying to get a round in. The course was well maintained and the greens were in great shape which I wasn’t expecting. The pace of play was pretty good as well. We got 18 holes in teeing off at 12:30p on the first day of DST just before 5p. The course was as I remembered and I mean that in a good way. An enjoyable day overall and I’ll try to play there one more time before winter sets in.
