Best public course in NYC
This has got to be one of, if not the best public golf course in NYC. The layout offers challenges by way of elevation changes and some water hazards yet it’s forgiving enough for newer golfers. What I enjoyed best is the condition of the course. We’ll groomed and cared for, you’ll have plenty of post worthy picture opportunities.
Good for the price
3pm tee time . Pace of play was pretty slow. A lot of beginners play here. Short course but hilly and interesting. Especially for Queens. Worth the price in my opinion.
Great day
Have a beautiful day, 2:30 tee time. Was very slow, as to be expected on a Sunday at a public course. Finished at 7:45pm. They could use a ranger to speed up the slow groups ahead. One gripe is that they charge $21 per person for the cart. Makes no sense. You can each get your own cart for $21, but if you decide to share a cart they still charge the second person $21. My son was 14 and it should be free or $5 for him to ride with me. That is a nonsense policy.

A sunny day with gusty winds, blind tee shots, waiting to hit, accidentally hitting up on group ahead. but a decent round.
