About
Ravenwood Golf Club is situated in the Finger Lakes region in western New York. It's one of the most popular public championship courses in the Rochester region. Robin Nelson designed the course in 2002. He utilized the gently undulating landscape to seamlessly connect the holes to one another so that the whole golf course has a natural flow. The front nine is gentler than the back, where the par 3s present formidable tests. The water hazards on the back are particularly challenging. The golf course finishes with one of its most memorable holes. Ravenwood's par-5 18th has a green that's tucked into the woods with the hill behind it forming a natural amphitheater. A challenging array of seven strategically placed bunkers guards the green and approach area.

Nice course
Great course really open though but challenging great course for the deal on this website.
Fun, well maintained course to play
Ravenwood is always a well maintained course, with some challenging holes. Paricularly early spring that it is, was a great track to play - open fairways, fair pin placements, greens had been rolled but were still a bit slow (soft). Will be back at the GolfNow prices.
Great coarse layout and well maintained.
I was impressed with the amount of workers on the course as I played it in early Spring and although a little soggy (as expected for this time of year) the greens were in excellent condition!
Great Condition for April
Played the course April 15, while most in the WNY region are either not open or under water from the recent rains.
Thought the course was in great shape .... with only a couple holes (fairways) wet due to the rain as noted above.
Was in only 1 sand trap (green-side) but it was raked and the groundskeeper was out with full crew maintaining nearly all of the holes.
Greens rolled very true, as did most chip shots.
The course - for the time of year and with the rain - was in fantastic condition.
Course is always in great shape but too pricey to play on a consistent basis.
Pace of play was great and course conditions were pretty good for end of season. Prices are still too high to get me to come back on a regular basis
Well maintained course with great views of the area
The course is in great shape, even in October. The pace was good and the holes are a good variety of long par 5s and tricky par 3s. Good course for all handicaps.

Friendly staffs Five Tee boxes fit all different levels. Will play many times
one of my favorites in Rochester
Course was in great shape, plays fair with wide fairways but challenging elevated greens and the GPS is an added bonus. Love the course.
Great course layout and condition
Got the impression they would prefer to not have discounted tee time golfers not there. The staff in the pro shop acted differently when I handed him the Golf Now paid coupon.
