Excellent potential, but stay away for now
This course has such great potential, especially for a 9-hole course. The holes are all fairly short, but they provide a decent challenge. Greens are just undulating enough to make you think about your short game.
With that said: There is a clear lack of maintenance on the course. The greens have dirt patches. The amount of fallen leaves on the fairways make it nearly impossible to find your ball. I understand that leaves are going to be a difficult thing to deal with at this time of year, but you NEED to clear your fairways at least once a day if you're going to remain open all year; it's clear that they haven't. I lost 7 balls on two rounds of 9, and 5 of them were lost because I couldn't find them amongst the leaves in the fairway.
One of the best.
This course is simple sweet and fun friendly staff clean course fair prices in and out it's one of my go-to's spots enjoy it's peaceful
FYI - Course Only Has 9 Holes...
Booked this course for 18 holes with a cart. No where on the app did it say this course not only just has 9 holes, but it's an executive 9... the course was just over 1500 yards.

Good Executive course
Well maintained; enough sand traps, water features, and rolling approaches to make it interesting.
Course Review
Choosing 18 holes on a 9 hole course means you'll walk back through the 9 you just played

Great Course
This course was pretty good. Challenging holes, but pretty straight forward. The only thing is that the greens were not in the best of conditions, flat and really bumpy. Could just be the wildlife eating at them. But overall, this was a great first-time experience. I would say that we would visit again sometime.
Stoney Creek
Greens were in rough shape but staff and course layout definitely make this a fun course to play
Conditions are NOT good right now!
Greens are a disaster currently, and sprinklers are coming on during your play to try and help but do not expect a quality round here right now.

TBH, I'll probably be back later this summer since it's a decent course with easy availability. Just hoping those greens get in shape by then, cuz it's impossible to putt consistently out there

Never again
This course was pathetic. I have played better kept mini golf courses. Joke of a place

Our greens died back this winter and we are working very hard to repair them. It will take time, I'm sorry you had a bad experience. We will get them back, it is our number one goal!
Extremely disappointed
Course condition was terrible. Most greens and fringes were in terrible conditions all dried up with sand. alots of dry patches all around the course. Tee boxes had no markings to know where to hit from. One par 3 had electric lines on the path of my shot that it hit the line and lost my ball.

Exactly what you’d expect
Overall, the course is exactly what you’d expect for the price and it would be unfair to expect more at that great value. Very friendly staff. Tee boxes are pretty loosely defined, greens were not in great shape (it is early in the season), cart paths are all-terrain. The driving range was portable mats placed on the sidewalk, but I believe you can hit off the grass later in the season. Fun course to learn or get a quick round in; it’s a 9-hole executive course so you’d have to double up for a full 18.
I don’t think it’s reflective of the course most days, but when we played it was so windy (40mph gusts, probably 20mph sustained winds) that we cut our day short.

H! Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Stoney Creek Golf Course!

Dead greens
Greens were dead. You were putting on dirt and sand. Course was in bad shape.

Nice cheap course
For $16 you can play through the 9-hole course twice. Friendly pro shop. Course has a few challenges that will test any golfer. Pace of play was great, we finished 9-holes in an hour and a half.
Fun little course!
Stoney Creek was a fun short course but the winter conditions have not been kind to the greens. A few greens, especially #7, were a little beat up but still playable. I think the price for 9 could also be a little lower. Still had a good time and will be back!
