Stoney Creek Golf Course

Since I hit a few birdies, then an Ace on 9 and followed up with driving the next par 4 green and making the eagle put… you could say I had a great day. I call this course a 3D driving range. It’s fantastic for dialing in iron and wedge play given the small tight greens. Everyone’s conditions are a bit challenged due to very dry and hot summer. The course has the best value out there. Recommended

Our first time at Stoney Creek and we decided to replay the 9 holes right after we finished (18). It wasn’t crowded on a Wednesday afternoon, pacing is relaxed & the atmosphere was inviting. We enjoyed the layout of the holes. They were a good 89-200 yds typically so we got to tee off with a variety of clubs. Plenty of design interest with trees, sand, water, and creeks to make you strategize. Lovely course.

Yes it’s an exec style 9 hole’r. It’s great to play a quick 9+9 there typically in 2.5 hours. It’s much more than practicing at the range but quicker than playing a full par 72 course. It’s a great place to dial in your iron and wedge play. Practical

Can't say enough good things about this course. I recently moved closer to Stoney Creek and I have been playing it almost every week this summer. For the price you simply cant beat it. The staff are beyond nice and accommodating to everyone. I'm 35 and this course gives me college course vibes. Laid back, play with some fun people, and for what you pay it's the best course in the area.

I love to play 18 at the bigger courses nearby but for the money this place is just so hard to pass up. You can walk 18 holes here in around 3 hours and you get a chance to use almost every club in your bag.

Will be coming here for as long as I can. Hope this place never gets bought out. This course is the best hidden gem in Colorado in my opinion

I used to play this course when we lived in the area. It was so cool to return with my wife and have a fun round of golf.

Stoney creek is perfect for you. Limited wait times super friendly staff and still a great engaging course!

This is a great place to work on your game, particularly for those who are working to graduate from lessons and range sessions to game like conditions. The 3 longer holes (par 4) allow you to use all the clubs in your bag, while really stressing the approach shots and short game.

As it is a great place for practice and beginners, the pace of play reflects those attributes. Do not expect to come in and just blaze through a round. If you’re a scratch or low handicap golfer, either brings some patience or consider another course that is more suited to your skills and pace. Leave this place for the people seeking to improve their game so they can tackle a full length course.

The fairways and greens were in good condition. The putting green, chipping area, and bunker area are small but reasonably functional to give you a place to address various shots. The range is similarly in good shape and with plenty to target markers.

The pro shop is modest but has a cost effective solution for things you may have forgotten or need to replace (such as balls, gloves, towels, etc).

All and all, Stoney Creek is a great community resource for enabling enthusiasts to develop into golfers.

We usually play in 1 1/2 hrs. It took 2 hrs with group in front taking 2 shots several times

Casual course is a rural part of Arvada with great views and friendly staff!
