funky, but good practice
The course appears to be farmland that an owner elected to turn into a small, rather funky, 9 hole golf course. Sand traps were few and tiny, but the course offered it's own water and brush challenges. Playing 18 holes means that you play the 9 holes twice. the mountain views are great, the staff friendly, and the course surprisingly popular.
Fun little course
Really like the value of this course and a cool layout. My only complaint would be that the 8th tee box being a bit of a turtle back making the tee shot either above or below your feet. Not a big deal at all just took a bit of adjustment.
Fun course
This was a fun course to play at next time I’ll probably walk the course but very fun.
Short and easy
If you are short on time you can even get it done fast walking.
Good gentle course
Really fun, unique course. I hadn’t heard of it, but found bookings available and loved the rural feel.
One of my favorite places to play.
We always have fun at this location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always my number one place to play.

Great course for your average person
It’s a good 9 hole course, this time of season (late March) the conditions are what you’d expect. It gets better as the year goes on. Greens were fast and hard to read this time of year, but it’s a good course if you’re learning to play, don’t play very much, or just a simple 9 hole.
Staff is always amazing!
Pasture golf
Stoney Creek is a very laid back executive course that allows the average golfer to "work" on their game. There is plenty of opprotunity to pitch and chip, and the greens are fair. The course was in great shape for the Colorado winter. I wish they would cut two to three hole per green so that you could rotate the flags and minimize the wear at the hole. The course is tight, and easily walked, even by an old man. You won't find a lot of "fancy" golfers here, but you also aren't paying top dollar rates, so you can feel great about the value you are getting for your money. Probably not the course that you want to take your brother-in-law to that is visiting from out of state. But a great place if you just want to walk, and work on your game and don't feel like you've lost your kids college fund.
I like it a lot!
