Can't beat a 3hr round on a Monday afternoon
Course is in solid condition right now. Played this for the first time and had a great time.
A Nice Relaxed Course
The Sun River Golf Club in St George Utah is a very playable Desert Golf option. While not as popular as nearby Sand Hollow, Sun River presents a relaxed round of golf in a golf dedicated community.
The front nine at Sun River is fairly flat and plays around a few ponds. The terrain on the back nine is a bit more extreme and a bit more challenging. I felt like the front and back nine complimented each other really well.
The conditions coming out of the overseed weren't great, but it was playable enough, and I could see that it was going to be in great shape.
Our group found the course very playable. It was challenging enough to be interesting, but not so difficult as to be overly penal. Definitely recommend this course for all skill levels.

Public course with residents. Great place for junior golfers
PGA tour golfers associated to the course through relatives, who include residents and management
Poor shape
This course is in horrible condition and I highly recommend you play another course
Great winter course
This course is surrounded by a great little retirement community. The course is in good shape for the amount of play it gets. The restaurant has great food and personnel. The golf staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
Treat you right
Great staff and excellent facilities. Could use a Marshall to speed up slow golfers
Nice course
Enjoyed the course it is fairly forgiving and don't requirer a lot of golf balls. The pace is always good on this course.

Great course, great Staff. Let me off early and let me play a few more holes before dark. Check the address, last minute golf app map sent me to the wrong location!

Wonderful course. Maybe plays a bit short compared to some others but not a push over either. Will be playing again for sure.

Nice track. Excellent layout. Lot of trouble - long holes from the tips. Enjoyed our day.

The course was very well maintained and very playable for handicaps of all levels. It presented good challenges and was fun to play. I would recommend this course to anyone wanted to get out and play a fun round of golf. I enjoyed this course very much.
Wet
Other than the flash flood the night before, the course seemed in great shape. The crew did a great job getting it cleaned up. I love the layout. A very manageable set up. Will definitely be back!
Excellent course for all golf levels!
Course allows all levels to enjoy their round - challenges w/o gimmicks. Staff is very friendly & helpful.
Rough Condition
Course was not in very good condition. Many dry spots, and lots of places where grass was very thin. Bunkers had very little sand, and was hard packed( needed daily raked by grounds keeper)
Could bee a great course with more care.
Facilities and carts are great. Carts came equipped with gps.
Great value with nice facilities!
First time on this course, overall good time! Great GPS on carts, one thing...if you veer off the beaten path the carts governor only allows cart to go 7 MPH, little annoying but it will keep you out of the rough with them for sure! Worth coming back to!
Good course
This course is in pretty decent shape considering the heat. It does need a lot of water and the fairways are thin in places. Greens are good and fast. At 106 degrees I really did not expect much traffic and the course was empty.
The staff was excellent and very friendly.
My only complaint is that a couple of holes need to be marked better with signs directing you to the next tee.
We had a great round and look forward to returning.
this course had great fetures
It was 107 degrees when we played. The only thing they forgot was till fill the on course water stations. I thought one empty was a fluke, but the second one was a s well. I called, and when I got to the next jug, it will even full of ice. Thanks
p.s. I had to have my wife stand in a sprinkler since we were out of water.
