Great municipal course (s)
Conditions were great, both fairways and greens, never waited on a hole. Played Woodbridge and Blackrock. Overall, didn't think it was too difficult. Blackrock had the most forced carries. Very enjoyable round. Price is what I'd play for a good municipal course back home in Virginia, DC or Maryland. Would recommend it for out-of-towner's.
Black Rock/The Point
We arrived early afternoon and only had to pay $28.00.
There are (3)-9 hole courses here. We had to play the Black Rock course for the front 9. It was in bad to terrible condition. The pace was very slow. I do not recommend this course.
We were able to play The Point for the back 9. This course was in okay to good condition. The first few holes on the Point are nice, but after a few more holes you have some gorgeous views and you play through a lava field.
This course did and "Over-seed" which meant cart path only. This makes for a slow play. It's hilly and will wear you out.
I recommend playing The Point and Wood Bridge.
Sunbrook is a must play
Awesome bunkers, with very dark almost graphite texture. I made a couple of sand saves, so I was impressed.
Course conditions are very good.
Great golf course
This is a very fun and challenging course for me. Told the staff my 21 or so handicap and urged me to try this (3 choices). Teamed up with a local resident and had a blast. Grass was perfect, weather toasty 98 degrees, and wide open. Par 5 uphill was tough. Hole 5 was picture perfect views. Staff super nice, clubhouse was immaculate.
Sunbrook utah
Great course can't believe it is public will be back asap
a playable enjoyable course
the staff was friendly, and the practice facility was adequate. The course was well maintained, challenging, inherent some very picturesque holes. I would recommend this course to friends.
Awesome!
Best fairways I have ever played on in 45 years of golfing
NARROW FAIRWAYS
Very narrow fairways. If you were the least bit off the fairway, you were hitting from gravel or rock areas that were not good for our clubs. Weather was very windy and cold. Thus, we only played 9 holes and no rebate or rain check since booke3d thru Golf now. I don't think we will use your service again. Lots of coots and bird droppings.
nice course, grouchy staff
Well it was pouring rain but the attendant assured us we were not getting a rain check. They did let us change our tee time to later in the day. We played and had a good time.
No Grass, hard fast greens
Many holes had very little grass in the fairways. Greens were hard and fast. Would not receive the ball without bouncing off. Guess its winter golf!
Enjoyable to play
Fun course with some water and elevation changes. Requires thinking about tee shots, can't just grab the driver and blast away, on a number of holes.
great greems
a challenging course that is a lot of fun with some risk and reward holes. The weather was perfect and the course was in very good condition. I try to play sunbrook each time I am in the area.
nice but tough
It was tough having no course knowledge. The course was in good shape. The pace of play was great. They need to update the club house. Also the food was weak.
SunBrook
Beautiful course. Nice scenery. Very enjoyable.
Great layout.
Different Nines
We played Pointe/Woodbridge. Pointe nine was open fairways and some hard uphill holes. Woodbridge was tree lined.
Course conditions were very nice with speedy greens. Clubhouse has a pretty plain grill with a shady patio. I will play here again.
Elevation changes
I am a 15 handicap, woman golfer. The Pointe has several carry shots that are challenging. The women get elevated tees - odd concept for us. Pointe has great views, ample fairways with some tough, uphill shots. Woodbridge is an older style course with meandering fairways. The overseeding hadn't taken on Woodbridge yet. This 9 was in worse shape than Pointe, but the island green was fun to hit to. The greens were a little rough, but we are going back to play the black rock 9 and pointe again.
Good views
Had a really good day. course just overdressed so not in great condition.
Sunbrook
Challenging but fun, we usually walk the course. This time we used a cart. Great price through Golf Now.Com
Nice ending
Sunbrook was the final course my partner and I played in a three day, four course outing to St George and Las Vegas.
After playing 36 holes the day before in Vegas, it was nice to play a course that didn't require too much walking from cart path to greens. There are tree and water issues, somewhat of a rarity for a desert course, but nothing too severe. The greens could have been a bit quicker for my taste, but approach shots were holding, so it was possible to fire at the pins. I play quite often in St George and plan to make this a regular stop.
Hot but amazing, great test of your game
Played at 12:30, hot but no one on the course. Amazing layout and very accommodating staff and Pro. One of the best overall places to play in St. George and the 3 nines are very different
