Todd Creek Golf Club
About
Arthur Hills designed the 18-hole golf course at the semi-private Todd Creek Golf Club (previously known as Heritage Todd Creek Golf Club). Opened in 2007, the golf course is 7,435 yards from its championship tees. Nestled near the Rocky Mountains, Hills used the natural landscape to create an exceptional course. Native grasses and wetlands make up the course's rolling terrain, which undergoes several changes in elevation. A creek also creates water hazards on the course while adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers also add interest to Todd Creek Golf Club. Golfers can enjoy spectacular views of the Rockies while playing this challenging, but fun course.

Pin flags are wind socks.... blowin' in the wind. Photo submitted by Sam Sherstad on 07/24/2013
Annoying deer flys
I don't know if the fly situation could be handled by the course maintenance personnel, but certain sections of the course, I'm guessing near the waste or field areas with the large growth of grass/weeds, have large amounts of deer flys which in turn "attack" (to bite) the golfers, making it difficult to concentrate on ones game.
Good shape, slow play
Second time I've played here, overall good shape and fun course, but too few carts and very slow pace of play, things got pretty backed up.
Enjoyable
Pretty course. Very spread out which made it fun. It's a little on the shorter side, but overall very enjoyable. Price for afternoon and evening rates is a little higher than Colorado National just up the road, which is a nicer course with nicer amenities. But you do get range time at Heritage as well
Exceptional
I absolutely love this course. It is more challenging and amazing every time I see it. Great place to be and everyone their is very friendly can't wait to play next weekend!!!
Fun Course, Good Value
The course was in great condition. The fairways were all grown in nicely and the greens were in great shape. Not the courses fault, but I wish players would clean up their ball marks. You can make this course easy or difficult depending on your T box choice. If you go further back, you have a fair amount of forced carries and the angles change. The practice facility was great and the staff have always been friendly. They do need to replace or fix a fair amount of the carts. They'll get you around but are for sure in nedd of some TLC. I WOULD recommend this course to friends.
Challenging approaches
Easy to stay on fairways, but bunker placement makes the approaches to the greens difficult.
Great and fair layout.
This place is a must play for all types of golfers. a challenging but very fair golf course.
very well maintained. course
This course has an excellent practice area. The fairways are nice and well maintained. Not a lot of trees on the course, but the course is really challenging with its many bunkers and native areas. Great value. We really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend this course.
Another solid Arthur Hills challenge
The grass was very good on the range and out on the golf course. Greens were in good shape , but rolling a bit slow. Lots of sand off the tee and around the greens. Difficult shots into the greens and around the greens. Bunkers are deep and plentiful.....I actually LIKE the sand in them , but my sand game is awful right now. Played the blue tees and thought the course was pretty tough. Back nine has lots of construction and fill your water bottle at the turn ...no water in the container on a hot day. Clubhouse was huge and oddly unwelcoming ...nice though.
All around great day
Went here with a buddy of mine on Friday. Booked our tee time on golf now for $28. Had never played here so didn't really know what to expect. Got there and wow was I amazed. The course had a great lay out and they even give you free range balls to stRt off your day. Linked up with a couple of great guys so that made the round even better. Will definitely check this place out again if on golf now. Regular pricing is kinda pricey otherwise
Stay hydrated
Course is challenging most greens are forced carries with sand protecting the fronts. Pin placements were rarely on level ground. Fairways are mostly wide, the rough is deep and thick from recent rains no doubt. The cart I had the GPS did not work at all. No water on back nine in 90 degree weather. One of the players in the foursome called the clubhouse and they sent water in cups with ice out and met us on the 16th tee. Great practice facilities.
course is in good shape and played long
the course was in very nice conditions. the challenge of the course can vary if you move back on the tee box. Played with my son who is barely starting to golf and he played from the whites which made it fair as i played from the blacks instead of my normal blue boxes.
Fun And Challenging
It was a great day at Todd Creek we always havw a good time when we play there, it's a nice course.
Bad Experience
Completely overbooked and not adequately staffed. Terrible experience, will never pay to play here again.
Todd creek
Was not a good experience. Pace of play was poor, at one point we were 3rd in line to tee off on a par 4... Ended up skipping the back 9 and played the front 9 again. Drink cart stopped running at 4:30. Would not recommend. Play Colorado National instead.
Todd Creek first timer
Course was in good shape and staff was professional and courteous.
The course is fairly wide open but challenging nonetheless. Hitting the fairways is a must. If you miss, the rough, including the first cut is very thick and sticky. Easy to get stuck in a nestled lie or slide under the ball if it's sitting up.
On the other hand, the fairways are cut quite tightly, making it easy to bounce the club into the ball with a resulting mishit.
And the greens, subtle, tricky breaks with lots of saddles (breaking both ways) and fallaways on the edges. The day I played was in the high 80s. The greens were rolling true but not holding approach shots at all.
Great value for the money. It would certainly make sense to play this course several times to get to know the lay of the land. I would not enjoy playing this treeless course in the wind!
Too bad about the bunkers
Nice course, challenging from the tips but one big problem that has persisted, no sand in the bunkers, any of the bunkers.
