My favorite hole ! Photo submitted by Golfworld on 10/28/2019
6 hour round
Contemplated on walking off a half dozen times. Took 2 hours to play the first 5 holes. Not a single Marshall on the course until 5 mins before shutdown and I think the only lap he did was in the parking lot as that’s right when we made the turn. Its a legit circus out there. Not even a starter making sure people went off on time.
Heads up!!
Green’s exceptional
Driving range good 👍🏻
Bar weak (closes to early)
Pace of play is slow due to proximity to other holes balls, constantly flying into other fairways it’s a real hazard on the front nine. There are some oddities on the course, but it makes it very interesting. Every hole is an adventure. Playing from the blues is manageable, but know your distances the yardage guide is helpful.
Pace of play issues…
Overall a very nice course. A little more expensive than it should probably be especially considering the pace of play issues. They have no control over their own course and do nothing about slow play. Be warned, 5+ hour rounds here are common. You can pay far less elsewhere for a 5 hour round.
Got out to play with my father. We have played this course at least 50 times each. Unfortunately we left a little disappointed. On a Monday afternoon, this was by far one of the slowest rounds we have played here. Almost as slow as when him and I played here on Father’s Day a few years back. Tee boxes were pretty chewed up and tons of non-repaired divots on the greens.
Very Good Challenge
Course is well kept. Greens were very challenging and well kept. Hole 18 seemed to be under repair. Other than that great Course to play.
Greens were superb.
The course was in excellent shape, especially the greens. We played early morning sunday and the pace of play was great. The staff (Starter) was very rude and not friendly.
More Sand Please
Tee boxes need major improvement!
Sand in all bunkers is atrocious.
Good course; terrible pace of play and useless staff
Was looking forward to playing Mill Pond for the first time in years. Arrived at the bag drop and had 3 staff members watch me unload my own car, no offer to help.
Had to wait in line to tee off, finally got to the 1st tee about 20 minutes later than my scheduled tee time. Took over an hour to play the first 3 holes. The course had at least one ranger out there, but he mostly sat in his cart under a tree even when we asked him about moving people along.
The round took about 5 hours on a Monday afternoon!! Maybe sending groups out every 8 minutes is not such a great idea.
After finishing the round, dropped our bags in the car and then returned our golf cart ourselves even though a staff member was standing right there and could have offered to take it back. They had many employees, but I am not sure what they all do!
On the plus side, course was in very good condition; played fair and the greens were challenging. Even though we enjoyed the course, will think long and hard before considering returning.
5 hour round..
Starter pushed us ahead of our time but we just sat at every hole from 3 onwards waiting for 2 groups to finish. By the turn it was down to one -because other group gave up and ranger never kept pace of play when group ahead had open greens…
Course is nice and very playable for all levels but how pace of play is managed needs work
Range is pretty nice but we got paged off it early…again to go sit at every hole
Nice course
Pace of play was good, and they had a ranger out there moving people along. Course conditions were great, but the sand traps need some work. Hit nothing but rocks for most of them.
Mill pond
Very nice golf course to play ,little challenging but always in good Shape
