Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

The course is going downhill
Started playing this course eight years ago and up until about four years ago it was kept pretty good now every portion of the course except a few fairways aren’t really rough shape too many dead patches on the greens. The staff working on the course showed no acknowledgment when we were trying to hit the ball. Hope they improve it, especially for what they’re charging.
Course was in terrible condition and not worth 86 dollars
Too bad
The course layout is fine but it is clear no one spends any money here
I had not been there in 2 years and it is worse than it was then.
I only played because of the hot deal from Golf Now
Will not go back.
Go somewhere else
Terrible course conditions, no staff, halfway house was closed, no cart girl, terrible greens and fairways, for the price it is horrible.
The best round of the year
We played june 2 and course was great as was the staff
We had our best round of the season
We will play here again
Degs
Worst maintained course I’ve ever played on
My clothes and lungs are filled with dust from the dirt trails
Fairways were in decent shape
The greens were horrendous
Can’t believe it’s almost $88 to play on a course that management doesn’t care about
A great day
From tne minute we checked in with Brendan Degnan the day was off to a great start. The staff throughout the day was outstanding and helpfull
We will play here a few times this summer
They need to put some money into the greens and fairways.
The Greens were horrible and unplayable with holes, patches and ant hills all over them.
Avoid
Booked a round late for a Sunday morning and it makes sense. Overall a bad experience.
Checking in the staff watched the sprinklers turn on and soak my clubs, waited for it to finish before he told me.
They advertise grass range, it was mats only. Ball machine was broken and took several minutes for the starter to unjam and fix it.
I've never seen so much sand on greens. Tee boxes were patchy, weedy and uneven. Lots of dead areas.
Avoid
Tee boxes, fairways, greens in really good shape but everything around them is terrible. No food or drinks at clubhouse water only. Seems like they might be closing soon but not certain
Course is hurting
Course is in bad shape and club is not putting any money in to fix it. Bare spots all over fairways and greens. Tee boxes were bare as well. Cart paths are al dirt and roots.
Terribly managed course
The grounds are in terrible condition. The greens are mostly uneven and parts or just dirt. There are no repairs for divots on the fairways. I wonder if they ever plant and seeds on this course. Very disappointing, it's like an old house needing a major renovation. Should be gutted and done right.
