Mill Pond Golf Course

Beautiful links-style layout. In great shape. Would be nice to bring back the ball washers on each hole. Most other courses have done so and it’s always helpful to have them.

A high school team got to the course late and instead of informing my group that this was going on the starter just allowed 4 groups of 4 high schoolers play ahead of my group at 3:25 when our scheduled tee time was 3:28. When we asked about this the starter simply said “well you can go get your money back if you want”

Mill pond, always a fun track. Course in decent shape for the drought. A lot of ball Marks and footprints but pretty decent otherwise. Horrible etiquette though people shooting shots right at one another on some holes that are too close together. The theme this season………people on a golf course who should

not be on a golf course!!!! If it takes 7 or 8 shots to reach the green go to a par 3 course or driving range !

Course was in great condition, super friendly staff. Only issue is pace of play was horrendous as it took almost 5.5 hours to finish 18.

Course set up was very good with great views of the hilly course from the higher tee boxs. Wild grass on every whole but everything was maintained well

In spite of being super crowded I always enjoy my rounds here.

I think spacing tee times a few more minutes apart would greatly improve pace of play.

Rangers were responsive friendly and made sure everyone moved along

We played Sunday afternoon and it took over 4 and a half hours. Challenging course with a nice mix of long and short holes. Very nice staff.

Fun with many holes playing like a Links style course. Green speeds are mid fast and well maintained. Rocky bunkers however. One of my new favs in Suffolk County!

A group of 4 employees of the course had the tee time behind us. On the 5th hole one of the staff players hit a tee shot that hit my wife in the shoulder, no fore call or anything. The starter named Joe had the audacity to tell me that we should not have been looking for my wife’s ball in the rough and that we were a hole behind pace. Meanwhile we have waited at every tee box and are paced for a 5 hour round. Unreal, no class. Typical Long Island starter nonsense. Rude, inconsiderate, and thinking they are above the rules.

My first time playing here and it was recommended by a friend. Had some buddy’s from down south up and we had a great and time. Challenging course that will make you regret not playing it safe sometimes. I’ll be heading back to play soon. Excellent condition

I know Bunkers are being upgraded a few at a time which is great but big bunker on right of #2 green was a mess. A million footprints and very deep sand. Does this bunker get raked out by a machine before play or if it does then guests are doing a poor job of raking on their own. Pace of play was perfect. and has a good day scoring.
