My favorite hole ! Photo submitted by Golfworld on 10/28/2019
Terrible management
Tons of people all over the course. No starter policing the rounds. Hottest day of the year and no cart girl, the snack house at the turn was closed, soda machine broken. Will never play here again!
Fun & Challenging
This is a great, links style course with trees only on 4 or 5 holes. Long fescue mounds make off line shots difficult, and on a few holes it can be difficult to find a wayward ball, the first 3 holes are adjacent and so balls often find other holes’ fairways, so erratic ball strikers beware. The staff are nice, the Rangers are a bit grumpy, but that’s the job! I’ve played 5+ hour weekend rounds here so best to get out early (before 9) on weekends. There are a great variety of “types” of holes so the course keeps your interest. Greens are challenging, sometimes pin placements are a bit ridiculous, but not so for the last 2 rounds I played here. Range uses mats, I prefer grass. I have grown to really like this course the more I play it.
Great Links Experience
Nice course. Well maintained. Didn’t have to wait on any holes, great pace.
Nice mix of long and short holes
Might suggest a combination of white and gold tees for senior golfers
When you go into the fescue make sure you check yourself when you come out. We found so many tix on our clothes, went home and found four more on my body. Besides that the greens are in great condition and the pace of play was good.
Interesting rolling terrain
First time playing course. Stay on the fairway and avoid the rall fescue.
A gem
This course is a gem. Great layout, perfect conditions, well-maintained, all around excellent. Greens were perfect and VERY fast. A lot of challenges and if you make any bad shots you pay the price. Looking forward to playing here again soon.
Tee Boxes
Nice course.
Fair layout.
Pretty course.
Good greens and fairways.
Friendly staff.
Tee box conditions below average and need improvement.
