Unhappy
I was very unhappy with how the round started and finished. We booked a 420 tee time, but wasn’t able to go out till 505, which only allowed us to complete 14 holes. Late start was sure to insufficient carts. We chose to walk so we could complete 18, but wasn’t allowed to go straight out. I had to call GOLFNOW to get a reimbursement for not getting carts. I feel I should not have paid 40 bucks , after the cart credit, only to play 14 holes. Very unhappy
A fun course to play
The course is in excellent shape. The fairways keep you honest with sand traps, fescue and heavy rough, but they are wide enough so you can relax and bomb away. The greens are excellent and run true with lots of breaks. I gave it a 5 for off course amenities even though the pro shop and restaurant were closed due to the coronavirus. I felt it would be unfair to give the course a different grade since this was out of their control. I highly recommend playing this links style course. One of Long Island's best. I will definitely play again. It was worth the trip from Queens.

Good course, straightforward for the most part, bunkers are not so great
Title says it all. Pebbles, some golf ball sized, (yikes!) in the bunkers end up on the greens. Make certain you have sand under your ball and clear away the rocks. Shouldn't have to do that, but well, there it is....Landscaping required on the greens as a result. Nice!? Not so much. Otherwise, tees, fairways and greens were nice. Putts rolled true, fairways were in nice shape, all in all, not terrible. I don't believe we have a broom iron in the bag, Maybe we could carry an electric sweeper? LOL Have fun, stay safe out there!

Fairway or lost ball
Challenging yet fun! This course requires you to be in the fairway. The rough is like Shinnecock, you might find a ball but it's not yours. Simple greens, not too large though. Offers some very long holes for us average golfers. Great place to play!!!

Good Track
Played for first time and was not disappointed. Special rules due to health crisis- but really had no impact on the experience. Greens were well maintained and fast and the back 7 holes are like another golf course. Pace of play 4:15, Will definitely be back.

Always a nice course to play. Don’t play too often due to Super slow pace of play. Always a crowded course. Spread tee times out more for better pace of play.

Quarantine Golf
The course is in nice condition. I like trees on courses and this is a links style course. It is very fun to play, even with the clownish pin placements in the middle of slopes on green etc. it was nicely spaced during social distancing rules, even on a busy Sunday. Great round.

In good spring shape
Course is in good condition, generally always get paired with a good group of guys.
Would appreciate if the starter didn't give away your tee times 15 min before a round in which you can't loiter around due to current pandemic.

First time - will definately go back, Course played fair but tough. Not super long but enought bunkers & rough to get in your way. Greens hav deceptive breaks, very fun coutse. Carts not avail & clubhouse closed due to virus.

Course was in great shape.While the course was fully booked we never felt rushed or crowded.This was also my first time using Golfnow app and was very happy finding out how easy it was. I will definately be using Golfnow to book all future rounds.

Overall course was pretty lush but the greens were pretty impeccable and rolled great.

Too crowded
Too slow, too crowded. Tee times spaced only 10 min apart ?? Should be at least 15 during they pandemic

Nice course.
Good layout, interesting setting. Couple of short holes, and a couple of difficult ones, particularly number 8 and 15.
Greens, tee boxes and fairways in good shape. Staff very friendly. Of course, at this point of social distance, no amenities.
