Terrific
Lovely 18 hole layout. Challenging course, but not too difficult so it makes for an enjoyable round. Beautiful greens that rolled true.. Sand traps were in good condition for a public course.. Decent bang for the buck if you are not an out of towner. Will play again.
Excellent Place to Play
Great course , great staff, moves quick.... but for 81.00 GPS wasn't working. Swapped out the cart once and it still wasn't working.....

Nice course, but HOW ABOUT SOME WATER????
I've played here many times before. But while playing on one of the hottest days of the year, we weren't allowed to carry our own water in a cooler. This, in my opinion, should be illegal. You can't count on the beverage cart, since it appears infrequently and may not be around when you decide to collapse from heat stroke. Bad on you, Mill Pond; this is a terrible policy, and is especially bad during the COVID crisis when many of us are hesitant to handle bottles of unknown origin. For this reason alone, I don't recommend the course.
Hello, vtoto. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We take customer feedback very seriously at our course. Our policy on coolers is strict. Due to this, we do not permit personal water or refreshments but do inform players they may place water in their bag or in the cart sweater basket. Thank you for playing Mill Pond Golf Course.
Management
They threw away items left in cart and manager said he would make it right. Never heard from him again. It’s been over a month since the loss. All I want is some communication. I have been playing there almost every week fo 20 plus years and would like some consideration. The outside staff is great but the manager is far from that
No senior discount
Due to COVID-19, Mill Pond has decided to not honor their senior discount that has been in place for many years. Sad. I won't go back until the discount returns.

Nice course, not following NYS COVID guidelines
The course is in great condition and the pace of play is better than most courses on the island. That said, they told our group that they now require two riders per cart. Everyone on the course was sharing golf carts which is against NYS guidance. They should go back to single rider carts.

Course is great...Starter, not so much.
Course is in excellent shape. Greens are gorgeous. Fairways and tee boxes are well kept too. The issue is the starter. Guy has an attitude and jumped on us because we brought a cooler with ice and waters. He yells at us coolers aren’t allowed but then goes on to say no outside alcohol is permitted. That is fine. We had water. Don’t be rude to us when we showed you we had water. Change your policies to no outside alcohol. It’s 80 degrees out and it was 7am and the day was only gonna get hotter. Cart girl showed up on 11th hole. Again that is fine, but don’t give me an attitude about the water I brought so I didn’t collapse from heat exhaustion. Then when we are leaving starter goes out of his way to remind us we won’t be allowed coolers and how he “remembers every face” so don’t try it again. We say to him, if that’s how it is gonna be we just won’t play here anymore. He then says they don’t need out business. Oh yeah, still bought 6 waters from cart girl and tipped her $10. So it wasn’t talking money out of her pocket. If I have to pay $81 to play a round there, I can bring my own water. That was my only issue. As I mentioned above, course was in excellent shape. Extremely well kept. If. I can’t bring waters though, I’ll play somewhere else.

Please do understand that we do not permit coolers on the course for many reasons and signs are posted.

Great day with Som and grand daughter
We are Teaching my grands daughter if 10 to play golf . We kept pace with the course and had a great time with the last person they paired us up with . . Great course to have her learn and it was a day to remember

Mill pond golf course
I come from the south shore to play here it a challenging and nice paced round about 4 hours
The course is in nice shape a little dry in some areas and the water hazards are not impossible to overcome

Liked the course. Course was in good shape. Greens were smooth. . Some elevated tees and greens. Rough was high in areas if you sprayed the ball. I would play again.

Nice course, extremely slow and not managed well
The course itself is nice. Well conditioned, although it’s been getting worse as of late. But it is sooo slow. If you tee off after 8 am expect a 5 hour round. Last time I played here, my tee time was pushed back almost an hour because of the pace of play. The best part of the course is holes 12-18.
