Great Course
Not super easy, but fun to play, narrow fairways, just hit em straight! Great restaurant for after golf drinks & awesome food! All staff very friendly and helpful!
Tee times too close together.
Waited on half the tee boxes.
2-3 groups on some holes is unacceptable.
Space out the foursomes for a more enjoyable round!

Not worth it teeing off any later than 12
Charged 20 per person for cart... so 40 for two people sharing. Wanted Cart back by 4:30 yet didn’t discount
$77 a person for 12 holes with the pro shop attendant not sharing any solutions

We left after 14 holes, four and a half hours. I know it’s a Sunday and I don’t expect to play the round in four hours, but 4:30 to play 14 holes is unacceptable.

love the woods
Fun course. The hotdogs at the 9-hole halfway house hit the spot! There were a ton of leaves today on the fairway. Hence "the woods" but still a beautiful and fun course. The "links" one across the street has way less leaves right now. So perhaps hit the links one until the woods does some raking—but other than the leaves, the Woods rocks!

Nice course
Nice course, challenging and in pretty good shape, though some greens were in bad shape so I felt the price was a little higher than it should've been, and the pace slowed down halfway through our round when someone who stopped for food jumped back in. I thought the marshall should've told him to speed up but nope. Overall pretty good experience.

Course was nice layout and in great shape except the divots on the greens need to attended to by other golfers .

Playing the Woods
The Woods and its sister course, The Links are two of my favorite courses on Long Island. They both are very challenging but fair.
I did not paly well today, but still enjoyed this course and will look forward to playing it again.

Lots of challenges
I live close to the Woods and play there often. The course is in the best shape I have seen it in. It’s narrow with lots of trees but fair. The restaurant is fantastic, stragglers friendly. One thin the leaves are coming down so it can be a little tough to find your ball if you hit it into the woods. The course accross the street “The Links” is great also and no trees
