Greens Are Bad
Overall the course is well kept. Reasonable prices, nice layout, nestled in our back yards, and you can get in and out fairly quickly during the week. However, the greens are borderline horrible. Not in the sense that there's no grass or they're rock hard, but every green is a rounded mound of at least 3-4% grade in either direction. If you're lucky enough to stay on the greens, rest assured your first putt WILL roll off the green or force more putts on most holes. Case in point, I played this course last weekend during a misty/rainy Saturday in remnants of Hurricane Ian. Even with soft, wet greens, every other putt rolled forever. Hole 7 is atrocious, Hole 13 is pretty bad, Hole 15 is as bad as Hole 7, Hole 17 will tick you off leading into 18... I could keep going.. They really ought to level them out. And if they won't level them out, then hire someone else to take care of the hole locations. There's no reason to be consistently placing holes on the worst slopes (probably close to 4% slope) on pretty much every green. But what can they do? Every green is a mound. 5 times playing there this year and every single time the hole placements are simply atrocious. They're either on a slope or too close to the fringe (sometimes even both). Don't get me started on customer service. I can attest to other Google comments that the pro shop guys aren't the best, but I'll stick to the greens. I really like playing here but man, do the greens REALLY test your patience.
Great course to work on short game
First time playing here will plan more trip over very enjoyable course, short but challenging
playing
The course was pretty near empty , maybe 10 cars in the parking lot . We had a group of 5. We woulda been fine playing 3 then 2. But they refused to let us do that and forced our buddies to play like 40 minutes behind. When they eventually got on the course there were 8 high schoolers playing and the coach told our buddies to go ahead passed them. They did. Manager came over and freaked out like 2/3 times. Won’t ever be showing up here again. Don’t take your job so seriously bud. Especially when we spent $200+ combined on food drinks and fees
A great iron course
If you like par threes, and working out your iron game, this is the course for you. Greens are equally challenging, so bring your best putting game. If you like to stretch your legs a smidge (Code for: showcase your driver) this course might be too mild for your needs. None the less, it’s a beautiful course in its own respect, and definitely worth playing.
VERY, VERY SLOW PLAY
It took over 2 hours to play the front 9. One fivesome and a foursome backing everything up. We had three groups waiting on a few tee's. And always at least two groups waiting to tee off. The foursome had no golf experience and no golf etiquette what so ever. Once we figured out what the problem was we just skipped holes and drove by them. It was a Very long day !!
Early am tee time
Pretty average all around. 3rd group out and pace was decent, mini wait each hole, no one immediately behind.
Nothing fancy but nothing completely lacking.
