Exceptional all the time.
We played the course on a very cool (spitting snow), early April day. Staff were very friendly, despite us being dumb enough to show up in those conditions. We were shocked at how NICE the greens were, this early in the season. This course is hilly and offers many nice views. We'll be back in the summer!
Must play course
First let me say I know this course is some distance from NJ. That said 60 miles to play a world class course should not stop you. Jack Frost is in my top 10 courses that I play. For the record I play LOT of golf. Not only is the staff falling over to accommodate your every need to maximize your golf experience they also have “for a 25$ adder” motor cycle golf carts that are absolutely the funnest thing I’ve ever done on a golf corse. I could not recommend a course more than I do for Jack Frost.
Course condition A+
For this early in the season, the course was in very good condition. The grass around the greens were almost perfect. Expect to 3 putt on these large undulating greens.
Great condition for March
Greens were consistent, fairways perfect and it was a great day weather wise but the wind was a factor on the back nine.
Cool place to play
This course is long, great elevation changes, super fun course. I was impressed with the layout. Has a few challenging holes.
Always a pleasure.
It's always a pleasure playing this course, from the wonderful views to the unique layout the friendliness of the pro shop staff. Also a superb practice range for all clubs and putting. It's worth it just to come for the practice facility alone.
Only knock would be the need for more clubhouse amenities and additions such as a changing area.
Great Value for great course.
