Nice course! Good condition
Overall the course was in good condition. Greens rolled true. Worst thing about this course was the golf cart (old, moldy and no chargers). I enjoyed the experience and plan to play there again.
Target golf course
Most definitely a target golf course. Bring your A game and leave your driver in the bag on most holes. Water water everywhere . Not familiar with the course I had some great drives end in the drink. Nice track in good shape when we played . I will play it again and leave my driver in the car .
Well maintained and friendly staff
Overall course was in good shape, greens were a bit rough due to reseeding nice layout long par 4”s
Misleading review
I live on Eagle Ridge GC and play it more than 100 times a year……and I’ve never fallen in a creek, dried up or otherwise. Anyone ever seen a rope guarding a creek on the PGA tour, or anywhere else? I think not!
How typical to blame someone else for a less than intelligent decision. Don’t let this whining review skew your interest in playing Eagle Ridge. You just have to be smarter than the creek bank.
Disaster day of golf
The dried up creek on the right side of hole #6 was not marked or roped off due to unsafe conditions & as a result one of our foursome fell in mud up to his waist & it took 35-45 minutes to get him out with the help of 6 men some of them being the foursome behind us! When I mentioned to the Manager this could have been prevented if it had been marked or roped off he said he would have the starter tell golfers before they went out to play! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE ANSWER!! They gave our friend a used golf shirt ( probably from the lost & found) & some towels to clean up because the shower in the Men’s locker room was broken. How about a new golf shirt & a new golf glove ( he had just bought a new one in the pro shop) besides the rain check?? His entire outfit was full of mud from head to toe!! Not the best PR!!
Worth to play
This course is in very good conditions and really worth to play. The course is embedded in a lot of water hazards which come into play for nearly every shot. Therefore the course plays much more difficult as ist seems, but course and nature pay this back.
A Minus: No driving range
A Plus: very friendly personal.
Excellent course.
I enjoyed golfing at Eagle Ridge. I really like the layout of the course. The conditions were very good. Pace of play could have been better.
