Eagle Ridge Golf Club

Fun round at Eagle Ridge! Course was challenging but fair. In good shape, but driving range was closed due to damage from a recent tornado… Maybe space tee times longer than 7 min though!

Course is a nice layout and has enough challenges to make it fun. Greens could use some work

Pace of play was even slower than expected, though as groups dropped out on the back nine to make their dinner dates, we were able to finish after sundown. Course is short on carts and range facilities due to a December tornado that damaged both. Course layout is fair to the golfer, traps are consistent and greens rolled very well for a course with that much traffic. Cart beverage person was friendly yet due to the density of golfers she could only make it by twice. Bag drop fellows were very friendly and handled the cart shortage pretty well. Not sure that the Player Assistance person did much more than fish balls out of the water for himself. As he offered no clues to the slow play.

The starter made it sound like we were in for a he'll of a day. First telling us that the course will play way longer then the scorecard. Told us if we normally play white tees we should move up to Gold. We didn't and it played as long as it was marked. There's a lot of water on front nine but unless you really slice or badly hook ur drives not a problem.

We played in 3 1/2 hours Rangers were around keeping everything moving.

Greens were fair - Tee boxes were good. Staff was very courteous.

Was it worth $115? It was 21 degrees back home that day. So that made it worth $115.

Overpriced for this time of year and the condition of the course.

The pace of play was terrible and the course had wet areas. Fairways were narrow and there was way too much water.

I enjoyed the course, nice layout, greens were at a very good speed.

However pace of play is somewhat slow and even though there was a marshal around he didn’t ask slow players ahead of us to pick up speed..

Played the front nine in much less than two hours.

The group in front of us was more than a hole in front of us. We realized we had to close the gap but the group behind us was not in sight and never had to wait for us.

The ranger approached us twice and was quite nasty about our pace of play. We told him we were not holding anyone up but he kept insisting that we speed it up.

We finished in 3hours 45 minutes. This harassment was unnerving and I doubt that I will be back.

The course itself was decent and layed out well.

Looking for a good public course to play when no others are available? This is a good place to play. If you have not played the course before get good instructions on hole locations on the front 9 or you could find yourself going the wrong way. The staff is very helpful, though.

I played in the afternoon and they rushed us and charged $90 to start at 3.06pm. We didn’t start on time and waited on every shot. Played 11 holes. The golf course conditions. We’re good. And the course was good, you could tell they re built the bunkers recently. Everything was mowed and the greens rolled decent. Hard to tell in late afternoon. Cart guys were great as well as all employees we encountered.

Took 5 hrs 25 min to okay. Nobody seemed to care, just said oh well we busy.

The course was in great shape considering a tornado recently hit there. Staff inside was great. The starter was complaining about singles and two some he had to pair, which we were part of. Must have had a bad start of the day. Otherwise it was a great track.

Challenging, nice condition, a good value. A little too much sand on the greens but not a big deal.

Better value than most courses open to the public.

Very happy with the condition of the course, the layout and how challenging it was. I would come back to play this course again when I travel to the area.
