Morgan Hill Golf Course

This is a good course and interesting layout with amazing views, although maybe not worth $57 on a Saturday afternoon. Some of the holes are literally too hard where a double digit handicapper has no chance. About three of the holes are too long. One par 3 even has a fairway because no one can reach the green.Our round took five hours. It was getting dark when we were on the 18 fairway. A clubhouse boy drove out and told us we had to get off the course because of darkness even though enough daylight remained. Maybe if they monitored pace of play, they wouldn't have to ask players to come off the course after five hours due to darkness.

Too many blind shots with rough that made it hard to hit fairways and find your ball if you missed. Greens were excellent and ball rolled true. While we are glad we tried it it was not for us

I think the course conditions are consistently average. It has an intriguing layout with distinct holes and many blind shots. While position matters, wide fairways make it playable for the average golfer. Whether it is dry or wet weather though, the fairways and greens are never cut tight and divots and ball marks abound. Doesn’t help that the carts’ sand tubes are empty! I kept returning expecting an improvement and thinking the last time was just uncooperative weather seasons. Nah.

The View is an excellent bar and restaurant. The staff was mighty helpful and friendly!

Love the course. A 10+ rating for scenery and character of each hole. Very challenging course.

I couldn't have had a better experience at Morgan Hill. My husband, cousin and I went there for the first time and had the best time. The customer service was some of the best I've had and the facilities, restaurant/bar as well as the course were immaculate.

The guy in the pro shop was soooo nice and more than helpful when working with us due to weather delays. He is one huge reason we will definitely be coming back!

Very difficult course I thought, lots of hills so you end up with some non favorable lies on the side of hills. Also I lost a few balls that I hit into the fairway and could not find them. But overall, really nice course, some great views and some really cool holes. Once again I thought it was challenging and the greens were tough.

This was the first time playing the course in about 10 years. It’s still beautiful with great layouts - no two holes look the same. It’s still a very difficult course. The greens were a bit on the slow side. Some of the fairways were not mowed properly with big grass patches - the 15th hole was almost unplayable. The pace of play was ok - should be on a midweek afternoon - except for a dreadfully slow foursome we passed by skipping a hole. The gentleman at the pro shop and the starter/cart person were both very friendly and took good care of us. The course is now long away from home but I will definitely go back.

I played on that course for the first time. After reading the reviews I was worried. I don't know what kind of golfers are giving these negative reviews. I play around 50 different courses during the season. I must say that the course has a fantastic layout, very good condition, the pace was not bad for a Saturday afternoon. The course has very beautiful views on many holes. My overall rating is an absolutely beautiful piece of land.

The but is There was nothing to eat until half way house and then that was very limited. No cart going around. Ranger did nothing just drove around. Group a head of us was slow all day. Course is nice

Played in the afternoon. Started at 3:30pm. Sunset was at 8:00pm. Finished the 17th hole at 7:30 and we were informed at 18 tee box that Ray wanted carts in by 7:40pm and we couldn’t play 18. The 2 players they put in front of us on #10 got to finish their round but the four of us who paid full price were not allowed to finish even with 30 minutes of daylight left. Was not informed of any 7:40pm deadline when we teed off. As a matter of principle will never play Morgan Hill again until Ray is gone.

The course was in terrible condition from tee box to green.
