Morgan Hill Golf Course

Excellent layout with plenty of elevation changes. Fairways and tees were in good condition. Could definitely see which tee boxes didn’t get enough sun. Was a little disappointed in the greens. It appeared that not many people fix their ball marks at this course. An extra ordinary amount of bounces and holes. On hole 9 it appeared that someone took an iron shot off the green leaving a very nice divot in the center of the green. Puts were very bouncy. However it appeared that the greens were not cut and rolled recently due to lack of rain. Overall a nice course. Would definitely like to play it during the growing season to see how the greens are normally.

I don’t think I was on a flat lie all round. Every tee shot is a blind tee shot. The course was beautiful but it was super hilly.

Played on a Friday AM. Very open although we got stuck behind a slow group but it cleared up on its own after 9 (no rangers though).

The course itself is in excellent condition. Only complaint is the greens were a little beat up and bald in a couple areas but a course in this good of shape for $55 including a cart is a great deal.

I play this course every year and always recommend. What it lacks in length, it makes up for in elevation changes and challenging rough. Very scenic as well!

on the other hand, the course is good because even in autumn, there are no leaves on the course, weird but its true.

layout is very good. A few picturesque holes with a lots of dramatic elevation changes.

Course is not in good shape and prepare yourself for 5 hour plus round of you’re lucky.

The course was in fantastic shape. The greens had recently been aerated, but were relatively true and had a pretty good speed. The fairways were very nice. All in all a great experience.

This course is very hard. It’s a beautiful course and well worth the drive.

It was a little bit slow but nice round on Sunday morning.

We played as a twosome with a twosome 1 hole ahead of us before we even teed off. There was no group I could see ahead of them. As we approached hole 5 we were held up by a foursome. No idea where they came from but called the starter and they never came to check. The round then took over 5.5 hrs and was a constant stand still the rest of the day.

While the club and course are in good shape I found the course very difficult and challenging for a first timer. There were many blind shots into the greens, and the distances were unrealistic due to extreme up or down the hills. While I enjoyed the views and playing a new course that was well groomed, I’d look to play elsewhere where I can see where I’m hitting to. My review might be different if I played a few times and knew what to expect.
