Morgan Hill Golf Course
About
The Morgan Hill Golf Course in Easton has a somewhat misleading name since you'll find more than just hills on this challenging course. Be prepared to face a variety of elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. The golf course has a dramatic design that is carved into a hillside, which makes it a hard course to walk but one that is visually interesting and tough to play. It may not be a layout for the faint of heart but the scenery alone is enough to provide enjoyment. Golfers can enjoy scenic views of the river, but scenic respite is the only break you'll get. There is hardly an even lie to be found and the severely undulating greens will test even the most seasoned golfers. Also, be prepared for a slew of blind shots at Morgan Hill Golf Course.

Great course, value and scenery
Played with some friends on the way home and it was well worth it. Beautiful views, challenging layout and friendly staff made for a nice day out. Would recommend this course if you like elevation changes
Rude staff
Let me start out by saying the course itself is a challenge and in great condition. Playing it will test your game for sure. The beverage cart girl was a pleasure and the only staff member worth seeing again. The starter was the most rude and obnoxious person I’ve come across. We asked why the group in front of us was just sitting at the fist tee and not going. He actually said “that’s not my job”. You are the starter, telling groups to hit off the first tee is exactly what your job is. He questioned our abilities and our golf knowledge. Asking how we should grip a club and if we played baseball “cause it’s not the same grip”. He stated he’s played more golf in his 77 years then we had so he knows what to do and we didn’t. When I informed him I’m a 2 handicap that plays over 100 rounds a year he said “I guess you don’t work then”. I assured him I do work a full time job and if I treated paying customers like he was treating the groups waiting to tee off I wouldn’t be employed any longer. Won’t go back to a course I like because of interactions like this.
Loved
As a new golfer I loved course although changing for me.loved the golfers you coupled us with give me tips I can use .thank to Paul and Rich you made it a great day I’ll be back
needs some tLC
Morgan Hill is a great layout and the views are sensational. The fairways right now have big blotches of missing grass on pretty much every hole. The greens are inconsistent making it hard to hole putts. We had a great day on the course but there is some serious TLC and much needed conditioning to get the course back to where it once was. Hope to see the new owner spend the needed money once the pandemic is over
Poor fairways
This is the third time we have played here. Tough layout with the hills and elevation changes, great views. Fairways were very dry, brown grass and in some areas just dirt patches. Before today I would have recommended it, we drove 45 minutes from Morris County, NJ. to play here. Needs work on the conditions before I go back.
Burnt out
Course was in rough shape very burnt out tee boxes were destroyed. Pace was incredibly slow.
Slow round
Teed at 3:36 on a Sunday. Last week played in 3:15. This week....4:50. Guys in front of us were painfully slow.
Course is burnt out, but for a links style course it wasn’t bad at all. Greens were a little slower than normal. I assume they let them out to keep them from burning out. Tees were a little chewed up after a long weekend, but it’s still a fun course.
One comment is the cart girl was heading out on our 4th hole around 4:15. Would have been nice to have someone out there until 6 or 7.
Lots of fun but they need some rangers to move pace of play on back 9
The best!
A long way from home but worth it every time. Great course in every way. Always in fine shape and beautiful views.
Difficult course in bad shape
Was very unhappy with the coarse conditions. From fairway to greens. The coarse has potential to be one of the best coarses in the area if taken care of better. Possibly the epidemic was a factor.
