I play Island Pines when my foursome isn't available because I can always get on the course. Island Pines is a nice track, but the conditions are terrible. It looks like a municipal course. People are very friendly and helpful. Someone needs to put some money into this course.

Great value for the cost. Inconsistent greens, lots of deep fringe, bring balls if you’re novice. Much better upkeep over the last 2 months. Had fun, will play again soon

Improving
Gave it a 2 star review last week went back a week later and it has improved. Greens still slow and fairways patchy. Good layout and some nice scenery. Great place to practice playing up to four balls a hole. Now I'm feeling 4 stars based on $ 15 hot deal. My two star and 4 star reviews average to a 3 star rating
