Beautiful course
Very playable. Homes around the course have character. Enjoyed a pleasant day on the course.
Course has been neglected
The greens were in the best condition but were very long and sooooo slow. The fairways had very little grass. The layout of course was acceptable but the condition ruined that. The people we met at counter and bag drop-off were very pleasant.
Nice layout, unfortunately, the conditions are poor. Etc, tees, fairways. Greens are not bad, but all the same size and shape.
Employees are friendly, but not familiar with the typical operation of a golf course, ie, tee times, pairing players, putting g groups together.
Weeds
Greens putt slow but at least they are grass. The tees, fairways, rough and everywhere else was all weeds with no grass. Pretty disappointing
Poorly kept
Fairways and Tee Blocks have very little grass and a lot of weeds.
Greens were like a mossy shag carpet
Was so bad and getting slow that we quit after 9 holes.
Don't waste your money
Booked a tee time for 1:26pm and when I got there they had two outing and told me that it would be an hour and a half before I could play.and this was coming from the manager...
At 1:24 there was no one on the first tee but she told me I was going to wait, I demanded my money back and said I would never play there again she said I'm sorry you feel that way how am I supposed to feel.
Bad course
The course was a dried out mess. The worst course I’ve played in Florida
Better than staying home
This is an alternative to the higher priced courses during winter season .if they would go over to fairwinds and get their formula on how to keep the greens it would make this place a whole lot better
First time, last time
I was looking for a course between PSL and Vero and found Island Pines. Price was solid, got a hot deal on GolfNow for about $100 for 3 golfers. The facility seemed understaffed. Basically had some carts sitting out and we were told to grab whichever. The condition of the tee boxes were horrible, but as bad as they were, the fairways were even worse...not sure you could even call them fairways, more like bare dirt patches. It was almost impossible to hit off of the fairways or rough because it was basically dry, compacted dirt. None of us could get under the ball all day. The greens however, were immaculate but saturated. So even though they were perfectly maintained, it was like hitting your ball through a puddle. There was one putt that was about 35 feet uphill and I hit the putt as hard as any that I have ever hit and I still came up short by 6 feet. The pace of play was another issue. We were a foresome that plays at a fair to fast pace for a foresome and we were being chased all day. By the 3rd hole we let a twosome play through and then within a hole or two later, we had a threesome breathing down our necks. They basically chased us the entire back 9 and eventually, they finished the last 2 holes combining with a group behind them. One might say that would indicate slow play on our part, however, we tee'd off at 11:28am and finished up at 3:45pm. That includes a 25 minute wait at the turn to get sandwiches and beverages so under 4 hours for 18 holes for a foresome is pretty good in my book.
One other comment to make is that there is water everywhere around the course so bring plenty of balls.
My advice, play one of the Port St Lucie or Palm Bay courses...price point is the same but the golf experience is much, much better.
Friendly staff and ok greens
The fairways was sometimes hard to se if it was ruff or fairway, as née on the course I would wish to have better course guide and signs where to go
Fun course
This is a better course than I thought it would be. Layout is nice. They have books that show everything about the course, which I always like. Greens were in better shape than some of the pricier courses I played
