Very nice course
This is a quiet course that gets a little tight sometimes. A great place for beginners to work on their game. The course was in good shape but the greens are a little rough. The bunkers are about normal for this area in rainy season. There is plenty of water in play but the fairways are well drained. The layout is nice and pace of play is great, never seem to see a crowd here. The club house and pro shop have a great staff and the full service bar and restaurant make for a great outing. Everyone is super friendly and afternoon tee times can't be beat for value. A definite regular stop for us.
Nice and quiet.
I have played Island Pines in the past and its a pretty cool course. It was nice today because I was the only golfer on the course for the first 9 holes. I shoot better when I’m not rushed. Anyway it was very nice today. I will definitely go again soon. Peace.
Fun at Islan Pines
The greens are well kept. The tee boxs are mostly kept up. The club house needs updated. It gives me a caddy shack feel of the 80s, which I am partial to anyway. The couse was not crowded when I was there and there was little to no pressure in my game. Thats a plus for me. I will be back for sure. The rates were fare and we had a great time.
Funday
Great deal, course has some very tight fairways , and some are wide and forgiving. On a scale of 1-5 fairways are a 3 but the greens are in very good shape . Friendly staff, very helpful, Pro shop is well stocked and good prices
Old course
Indian Pines is a old course that is surprisingly kept up in nicer shape then other “big money” courses. Fairways are in nice shape, greens are fast. The only down side to this lower cost gem is trash on course, especially in creek areas .... I know that might not be employees fault, but if you have to move paper and cans at creek bed looking for ball - you notice these kinda things ?!?
Island pines
Tease and fairways were dormant greens were OK and on the back nine they let a bunch of people off probably for a nine hole rate that slowed everything down terribly there’s nobody really Ranger Rick or working to keep the pace of play up there
No way
There was no way the conditions were as bad as they were with the price of the course. The grounds were rock hard. There is no difference between the grass height from rough to fairway. Fairways are so worn they are dirt. All in all, terrible grounds
Local Flavor
Layout is fine and fun...tee boxes and fairways could use some work...greens are slower but pretty true roll...starters are cool...clubhouse is great with good food and cheap cold beers and Dorothy the bartender who is very cool...a long drive for us from Jensen Beach but we will go back a couple of times a year just because it's different and fun...
Very basic course that’s not worth the time or money
This is at best a $20 for 18 holes course. It’s just a basic straight up and down course with no real challenges at all. The greens are in BAD shape and basically make you feel like you’re putting through mud. TLDR, don’t play here.
Great course and great price
Love this course and appreciate the afternoon rates. Being a local golfer can get expensive during season so this is a nice course to enjoy for not a fortune
All around okay
Relatively well kept with some dry spots on the green and fairway. Not overly challenging, short course, small greens angled towards you.
