Excellent public course
I picked up a last minute hot deal for Fairwinds, after not having played there for over a year. The course is always in good shape, but we were surprised to find healthy, green grass on the fairways and in the rough, when most other courses are dormant this time of year. We were paired with a couple of guys who were new to golf, but really fun to be around. Sure, the golf course was too tough for them,but they kept working at it, and a good time was had by all. I'll play there any time that I can afford the greens fees.
Great Course
Course was in excellent condition, loved the layout, great driving range too. I’ll definitely play here again!
Even while raining
Yes, soon after Tee off it rained for 4-5 holes and we still enjoyed the course. It drains very well and the course held up fine. Had a great time, especially after rain stopped and we dried off to finish 18 holes. .
Fairwinds
Greens were in good shape very quick fairways and tees need a little attention but for a public course it was a good experience

Beautiful golfcourse, I love it and will play again but
it was so extremly crowded.
Great Public Course/value
We played with our grandchildren who are just starting out. The course is fairly wide with minimum problems to get into other than a couple of water holes. Pace of play was a little slow but the course was packed. The greens and fairways were in good shape and the employees were very friendly. We definitely will play here again!
